Seen it a fair bit on Reddit and Youtube and just had to block a bunch of people in a Hellcheer server but why is it out of all of the characters on Stranger Things, is Billy treated as though he's the devil? Like 'he's the worst, glad he died, he was a monster.' Like...fucking no? The bitch who shot Benny in cold blood, Brenner who experimented on pregnant women, fucking HENRY, who willingly admitted he chose to be evil...but the abused teenage boy is your standard?

Which is absurd lmaooo, I can excuse murder, abuse and manipulation but I draw the line at racism.

And like, yeah I get you POV and I agree that his views were completely wrong but why can’t they understand that it was Neil that drilled those thoughts on him? And that he could grow up and be a better person if he had the chance? He was only 18 with an abusive dad at home. Doesn’t excuse, but it does explain it and if he managed to get out of the house he could become a better person.

Billy and Steve fighting for the umpteenth time about Billy doesn’t even know what, just knows every time he’s around Steve it sets his teeth on edge because he wants, so bad. And Billy’s used to not getting what he wants, in the grand scheme of things. But it’s a special kind of torture having Steve in his face all the time being so perfect, so loved, so soft despite whatever bitchy tendencies the guy has.

Steve’s warm, and billy wants to bask in it. But he can’t because of Neil, because Steve’s straight anyway so why is Billy even gonna think about risking everything to try.

So it comes out in fury. And he hopes if he can yell loud and fight hard enough it’ll quiet the voice in his head that just wants and wants and wants

And he gets the advantage on steve, grabs him like he’s gonna do something, but the second their skin connects billy knows he doesn’t want this to end like last time. But he can’t- he just can’t.

His head leans forward against his better judgement, still has enough sense to not do the thing he’s been wanting to do since Tina’s Halloween party. He just needs this moment, to feel steve against him.

It takes all his willpower to not do anything at all but he only has so much of it. Bolts the hell out of there when he can feel himself slipping. God forbid he starts sobbing like some sort of pussy in front of Harrington, Christ. That’s the last thing he needs.

Billys hands are clenching and unclenching at his sides as he makes his exit, the phantom weight of Steve’s wrists still there. He can still smell Steve’s hairspray as he finds the nearest hiding spot and crumbles against the wall, fist in his mouth trying to muffle his screaming.
