Kurtz is quite talkative when he doesn’t have to be professional. He wants to know if planes can feel the clouds when they fly through them, or if it just feels like when you drive through fog - cold and damp. Ryker doesn’t have an answer, but it’s okay, because Kurtz knows he doesn’t like small talk anyways.

Kurtz falls asleep sometimes. Ryker often sits there and ponders whether or not he should wake him up. Most of the time, he sits there for so long that Kurtz wakes up before he can make a decision.
