If you haven't driven 1,000 miles + by yourself, do it. Do it because you get to sit with yourself. Do it because you get to explore a new or rediscover an old road. Do it because it gives you space to process. Do it because you will inevitably discover a part of yourself you can enhance or release. Leaving Skagway was much harder than I thought. And yes, I semi-Irish goodbyed. Goodbyes are drenched in sad and it's never goodbye; just a delay until you connect again. I know that place and the people will forever be my home, so if I did not see you, I will be seeing you sometime again. I got to drive 1.6K miles and reflect on 25 years, the last 3 in Skagway, and where I'm going next. Kind of like a road trip, I know where I want to end up but I can only go one mile at a time. And I have to stop, refuel, rest, and reset. This is one of those moments. I stopped at this random place in somewhere-British Colombia that advertised fresh cinnamon buns (duh, Ima stop there 💁🏼). Ended up wandering for a bit and found this little beauty. Next up is exploring. Lots of it. And more moments of self reflection get to be my decadence. #mybodymypose (at Seattle, Washington)
