my story is pretty basic tbh, i didn’t grow up in a very beatle centric house though my mum loved double fantasy and played it a lot in the car when i was younger. i’ve also been a vegetarian since i was eleven so i knew linda before paul bc of her plant based stuff in store ily linda.

i first properly got into the beatles in my first year at uni where i happened to stumble onto a instagram reel of them which looking back was probably trolling lmao. but i was like no way is there tumblresque fandom for the beatles and. turns out there was (duh). my friend and i then skim read that loooong beatles fic which is still uploading for the lols but later i was like haha no why was there anything actually happening between john lennon and paul mccartney. and then i was proven wrong and thus started my hyperfixation where i immediately watched all the films + anthology on internet archive and began learning everything about them. that summer my friends and i also visited liverpool which was my disneyland. also was obsessed with the ao3 tag bc i thought the calibre of writing was so high. plus the innate tragedy of john and paul would not let me go.

i lurked on tumblr for ages, like a year? then published my first fic october 2024 i wanna say. and yeah after that i met a bunch of cool people im very grateful to know! beatles bring people together <3

also george was my firm favourite when i first got into the beatles which i find very funny in hindsight.
