[ ✟ ] —- - Joshua looks up a the sound of the door opening, pleased to find Livvy returning home. At first, her disappearances were a cause for concern, but over time he realized that there’s no way to stop her. And, even if he does try, it wouldn’t protect her, only cage her. Not that it matters anyways, considering he’s on the run and she’s just along for the ride. If he cares so much, he could just have her returned home. 

He has to admit, he simply can’t understand her desire for an imaginary friend. Even as a child himself, he was never one to be interested in playing pretend or the mysteries of fiction. Learning was his favorite pastime, much to the wonder of the adults that surrounded him. 

Still, he knows it makes her happy, so he tries to play along.
