I have a silly little thing that’s been floating around my head, like let’s say Emma comes to her senses and dumps H00K and ends up in Hyperion Heights while everyone is still cursed and she knows nobody will believe her and she doesn’t know who’s responsible so she just kind of lays low and gathers as much information as she can and maybe figures out that Lucy knows what’s up and they have a little side operation going on, and she hangs out at Roni’s bar and she and Roni become pretty good friends.
And Henry eventually starts hanging around, Emma spends as much time with him and Roni as possible and it breaks her heart that they don’t remember anything but she doesn’t know how to tell them without coming across as completely nuts so she does little things like calling Henry “kid” even though they’re practically the same age and giggling to herself about Roni’s wardrobe because she knows Regina would hate it.
And then Regina gets her memories back and has to continue to fake being Roni and is sad about lying to Henry and everything but Emma walks into the bar that day, takes one look at her and KNOWS because “with you Regina, I always know”, she just walks in like always, takes one look and whispers “Regina” and Regina’s so relieved that Emma’s still herself and they’re hugging and crying and Regina says “let’s find a way to break this curse and get our son back” and they do and live happily ever after.
