It costs nothing to upload and make public, and you can even earn royalties if you price your book high enough. XenoClan! A somewhat satirical dragon race I’ve been wanting to make for a while, maybe I’ll get to write about them one of these days? If not, at least it’ll be fun to worldbuild. XenoClan and some of their gimmicks is inspired by Invader Zim, “little green men” as a whole, Total Recall (1990 movie), the Paru Gama from Creatures of Sonaria, Martians in general, Gnarpy, alien conspiracy theories, Men in Black (1997 movie), Home (2015 animated movie), Planet 51 (2009 animated movie), and also Sci-Fi Pulp Fiction comics! XenoClan lives on a small red planet similar to Mars named Glarpus. It has lost its natural atmosphere, so XenoClan depends on the giant buildings they live in that contain artificial atmosphere and remain oxygenated with artificial oxygen generators (they are genuinely capable of making oxygen molecules down to the atoms themselves). The Glarpian Empire encompasses other planets XenoClan has successfully conquered, but Glarpus is their capital city.

Lacking unique defenses on their own, and also being smaller than the average dragon, XenoClan depends on their technology to make them powerful. And they certainly are powerful. They often wear spacesuits and carrying gear, are equipped with tons of equipment like trackers, freeze rays, anti-gravity bombs, laser guns / rayguns / death rays, tools like clamps, saws, and screwdrivers, plasma guns, particle beams, memory-wiping pens, magnetic beams, and much more. They can ride and operate gigantic death machines that are capable of pulverizing entire planets for resources. They also ride in flying saucers and regularly travel to other planets for study and exploration.

To explain a little bit, I think I’m going to operate via several ‘spin off series’ under the umbrella series title “The Wither Series”. If that makes sense. So Sui Generis is only one of many storylines I plan on making. I also have plenty of sci-fi AU storylines, zombie AU storylines, and even CANONICAL storylines with dragon clans from other planets. (That last part I’m still sitting on. Maybe I’ll merge that in with Sui Generis? Idk) I also have standalone books in mind as well. I can only hope I’ll live long enough to at tell a few of these stories.

Anyway, here’s the first update on my current book— the first one for Sui Generis.

Fun fact, I have a self-published book series! It was initially very inspired by Wings of Fire in 2019 when I first published (at 11 years old), which is especially obvious when you get to book 2 (Red Snow), which basically robs all of The Dragonet Prophecy plot lines and characters hah, not to mention the dragon clans themselves (besides OreClan) originally mirrored the WoF tribes. but it’s really become its own thing over the years.

(If you plan on purchasing these JUST ASSUME THESE WILL BE THE WORST THINGS YOU WILL HAVE EVER READ, that way you won’t be disappointed if they suck. They can be found on Amazon. I started this series when I was 11 and I just kinda did my own thing, I didn’t even learn what page break was until book 4, the continuity is messy and I did not usually bother to edit my books.)

In my humble opinion though, what is fun about these books is how I clearly improve over time. And I love to admire them in my free time because I’m proud of them. No matter what anyone says, I’m gonna continue to publish and write things the way I’m personally satisfied with, even if it does end up becoming zombie book after zombie book lol. I love zombies. It’s completely up to you if you decide to jump on the wagon with me.)
