“How does that feel?” Summer asked. Raven tried to move her arms, but that didn’t work so well. “Too tight?” Raven shook her head, both apprehensive and excited. In any other situation, feeling helpless would make her panic, but she felt safe with Summer. “Perfect,” Summer said before kissing her.

Raven leaned against Summer as they looked up at the stars. “Do you ever wonder if any of their legends are true?” “I hope not. Most of their stories end in tragedy.” “It’s more realistic than a happy ending.” Summer glanced over. “Maybe, but I’d rather hope for something happy.”
