Ostentatious

I am always doing that which I can not do, in order that I may learn how to do it.

I wonder if I should text you, but then again you never text me, so why should I?

Did it hurt you too? Did it hurt you when you hurt me? You completely used me, pretended to care. And you were pretty good at it. So good, that I thought it would last. But you hurt me so much, made me feel worthless. Did you feel bad? I hope you do because I want you to feel the pain that I felt. I hope you feel hurt too.

Lesson from sūrat al-Kahf: Leave what you must, abandon who you must, sacrifice whatever you must — just to preserve your faith and avoid fitna in your dīn.

I don’t owe people anything, and I don’t have to talk to them any more than I feel I need to.
