How fucking dare you tell someone to 'grow a thicker skin' if they're upset by something you think should be easily overlooked. You need me to explain how basic psychology works? How people become oversensitive to certain things they've had horrible experiences with in the past, whether it involves rubber ducks or textbook abuse? I have this muse who isn't canon to the show yet and the fandom has a very set view of how he is / should be. I don't conform to that and play him completely different than the general idea. Many don't seem to like him because of that, or assume he's the 'normal' characterization and try to force him into that role. It makes me want to delete him for good but I'm attached. I just want to feel GOOD about being on him, and not be guilted for playing him differently.
Vent: You seriously don't need to pull out the anxiety card, when I haven't done anything bad for you, if you don't want to rp and interact with me anymore. You don't have to act as if tumblr has eaten my asks, because you don't want people to see you talking and just overall close to me.Just be honest with me at least once.

Why, WHY is triple small text a thing. I have near-perfect eye vision and I have trouble reading it, and you know, there are actual people with trouble seeing roleplaying on this site. Did someone completely miss the posts about people having trouble seeing double-small text, or did they see it and just decide to make it harder for them?
When people say they feel bad about turning other people down for rping, it makes me sad. You're not in control of anyone's emotions but your own. If you give them an objective reason for why you don't want to rp with them (heck, not giving a reason at all should suffice), it is their responsibility to look at it just as objectively, and to not get in a tizzy about it. The day I learned not to freak out about turning other people down, my rping experience improved exponentially.
Before I reblog a meme from someone, I have the decency to click the source and reblog it from there instead of reblogging it from another RPer, filling up their activity, AND not even send anything.
Intoxicatedmedicine in the tf2 fandom has some of the best, well-written characters I've ever seen. And some truly funny drabbles and starters makes them an incredible partner. Thank you for making rping so much fun!

Nowadays, i feel really lonely, i feel like i´m some sort of ghost? i feel like i´m building a well, and no matter if i talk, shout or cry, nobody hears me, and i feel like everyday i make this well deeper and deeper, and i´m afraid because what is up to me? i talk in a nice way to people but they seem to ignore me? like if i talked to the walls of my well
hi friend! first off, i want to say that you are never alone in a situation like this. i’m probably not the first to say that i feel really lonely in the community sometimes too. actually most times, if i am honest. i could even be talking to multiple muns on skype or text or the instant messaging feature, and i could still feel alone. or like they don’t actually like me or want to talk slash write with me. i think sometimes you have to just turn off your head, which is harder than it sounds.
breaks, breaks, breaks! take a second to step away from tumblr and watch a movie, or read a book, gain inspiration. come back with a cleared head. and i suggest this because sometimes it’s easy for us to get lost in our thoughts and insecurities. just general anxiety about how we are perceived to the community. and usually it’s all in our heads! it can get consuming if we’re on for too long.
if this doesn’t help the problem, really really reach out more. like starter calls, like plotting calls, poke into people’s inboxes, && post about plotting more! there will be more people who are going to be into you and your ideas the more you establish yourself.
you should maybe drop the people who you fear are ignoring you, they aren’t good to keep around the dash. why? every time you see them you will be reminded of how they ignored you, and suspicions of them not liking you will inherit your thoughts. it will make you feel uncomfortable and anxious! the best way is to either just unfollow them, or soft block them. trust me, i recently remade my blog and did not follow a person that i was really afraid didn’t like me and it makes my experience with rp so much less stressful!

why am i so tired all the time
You know? I just HATE it when I reblog a meme and then someone else reblogs it and gets loads of asks and I don't get any. Or when I reblog the same meme as someone else with the same muse as me and everyone asks them and no one asks me. It is frustrating. Like I'm just leftovers or something. Second hand and no one cares about me writing the same character. And I think I'm a quality blog.
