𐙚 ⸻ Kang Mirae was born with the ability to see what others were never meant to know. When she touches someone, glimpses of their past, their possible futures, and the lives they have yet to live unfold before her like fragments of a dream. She cannot always control what she sees, and sometimes the visions come with a price. Together with her brother, she runs a small occult shop hidden away from the ordinary world, dealing with cursed relics, forbidden artifacts, and objects that should have remained buried. Mirae is quiet, observant, and unnervingly difficult to deceive. She rarely tells people what she sees in their future. After all, some fates are better left unknown.

She keeps a separate little notebook for every particularly vivid vision.

She can sometimes tell who last touched an object simply by holding it.

She hates being touched unexpectedly because physical contact can trigger visions.

She drinks her coffee black and far too late at night.

She collects old keys, even though she has no idea which doors they belong to.

She prefers writing important thoughts down with a fountain pen rather than on her phone.

She has a habit of studying someone for a moment before saying their name, as if checking whether she has already seen them somewhere.

She once had a vision about her brother that she has never spoken about.

Mirae calls Muyeol her personal curse remover. He calls her his walking disaster warning.

When Mirae suddenly says “Muyeol.”, he usually knows something has gone wrong.

Mirae sometimes gives people nicknames based on things she has seen about them.

She sometimes leaves a candle burning in the shop window at night.

She rarely says “I don’t know” — she usually says, “I haven’t seen it yet.”

She has a weakness for old Korean folklore and collects books about it.
