warning: long-ish post yapping about the plushies n stuff-

i asked a question about this in the official discord (with the hopes of it getting answered in a loredrop) but for now it remains as a headcanon-

many variants of a given plushie type will give each other unique nicknames and sometimes wear slightly differing outfits or other trinkets to differentiate each other, much like how a cadre of eules from signalis might!

but not every plushie types does this. despite being more common, Cinnabuns dont tend to do this, due to not sticking around together or being more social with their own type. Buddies, however, do this quite a lot, due to the fact that they tend to form larger groups

another group that also do this are Dougs. however the way they seems to “recognize” each other is generally unknown to the other plushie types, since they rarely wear special trinkets unless its a gift given from someone else, even then thats more so to help a given Doug stand out to the plushie who gave the gift at all…

also, each plushie type have their own name for a group of them (usually 8 or more in a group):

a group of Meistros is a Stage (as in stage-play!) and a group of Spinnettes is a Web but together they uniquely are called a Theater

a group of Queenies is a Hive

a group of Rockies is a Gaze (which apparently is the actual name for a group of raccoons!)

a group of Buddies is a Pack

a group of Fleecias is a Flock

a group of Hi-Flies is a Remix (due to their general love of music)

a group of Cinnabuns is a Fluffle (which is also the real name for a group of bunnies), but this one is lessened to around 5 or so in a group for this to be considered as such, due to the fact they dont tend to work together (see above)

a group of Dougs is a Labor (which again i learned was the actual name for a group of moles.. also ilove Doug heheheheeee :3)

a group of Jellybells is a Bloom (i love learning about the name for a plurality of animals)

a group of Kodas is a Sleuth, but will sometimes also use Pack

a group of Jinxes is a Trick and a group of Zorros is a Sneak (chosen for their very similar vibes)

a group of Tritons is a Wavepool (cuz it sounded cool lol)
