yaaaaa!!

Thank you!!🤩 Okay so this one started out by just wanting to write some Johnny angst (what is it with me and DE! angst?? I’ve hardly ever dabbled in that before😅) and evolved into an idea where Johnny and Jean Loo find each other after being realized - Johnny a semi-famous event singer and Jean Loo a suffering accountant.

Yadda yadda, they help each other reach their goals, Johnny is there cheering when JL graduates and gets his Marine Biology certificate, and JL is always at Johnny’s concerts. Just boyfriends supporting each other 💕

Then I fell for the stackables and needed angst about Drysdale’s solo ending. Washford’s too for that matter. Maybe Johnny and Drysdale perform at the same place/in the same area. Aaand who the doorman is at these places?? Yeah you guessed it😅 and of course when there’s Dorian, there has to be Mitchell. They need a happy ending.

So enough yapping. I have stuff planned for Drysdale and his whole stripper thing that’ll evolve into shadier work, but at the moment I’m focusing on the original idea: Johnny angst. 😈

“Thank you very kindly. You’ve been a lovely audience.” Johnny’s shiny white teeth reflected the spotlight directed at him when the music came to a full stop. The bejeweled suit blinded a few people sitting in the front row, causing their lackluster clapping to become even more sporadic as a number of them squinted at the stage and held up a hand to shield their eyes.

“I’ll be at the bar, sipping on dry rosé.” He’d barely said the last word before the mic was cut off and the bar’s patrons now happily chatted to their companions at the tables scattered across the room. His little way of informing any possible fans that he was always up for an autograph or even a picture after the show, should they wish for either.

The bartender had his rosé ready for him as he leaned on the counter and awaited to be approached. It rarely happened, but in his time here he had given two or three autographs, so maybe tonight was his lucky night.

With his stylish black hair slicked back in an attempt to tame the curls and a pair of sparkly sunglasses resting on the bridge of his nose, Johnny was the perfect image of a celebrated Las Vegas popstar.

You guys what if Jean Loo and Johnny splash were like doomed yaoi idk but like in human au and also what if they were both Musical artists that collab w each other at some point in life but then like break up over creative differences or something like that???? Idk tho.

Jean Loo goes to like a bar one day or smth (Maybe Beverly's bar??? Idk) and he sees Johnny perform on stage, singing and playing the guitar, but he's really good at guitar and super shit at Singing, and Jean Loo recognises that. Jean Loo meets up with Johnny after the show, and asks if he'd like to collaborate some time, and they play together and eventually start performing. Jean Loo and Johnny get discovered by some guy and the guy offers them outright whether they'd like to have their song in some movie. They agree, And then the movie becomes famous for the song and they become famous. After a while of releasing music, Johnny is a nervous wreck and realises how much the music has changed due to industry standards etc and he tells Jean Loo about how the music has lost all of it's integrity. Jean Loo doesn't care because he realises that although he'd always wanted to become a great rapper/singer (I can't decide), it was more of an overwhelming feeling of like a need to become famous more than a genuine love for making music. Johnny gives Jean Loo an Ultimatum of either going against industry standard and just playing whatever it is they actually enjoy or just playing whatever sold best. Jean Loo doesn't think much of it and tells Johnny he's too picky or smth like that, and disbands with Johnny. The music has then gone completely to shit, and Jean begins going to underground fights again to cope with all the stress. A few years later, Johnny's back working the stupid office job only in a higher position and playing at the bar, when he gets like news that apparently Jean Loo killed someone in one of those fights, and he's going on a trial which doesn't look too good for him. Johnny goes to the trial per Jean Loo's request and during one of the breaks, they have like an honest talk again, and they begin becoming close again as the trial goes on.

Soon the trial finishes, and Jean Loo is to die. Before he goes to his sentencing though, Jean Loo admits a bunch of shit to Johnny and asks for his forgiveness 'I think I love you blah blah blah, I'm sorry I left you all those years ago, will you forgive me?' Johnny just says to Jean that he loves him too but he won't forgive him. And with that, Jean Loo walks off to die by lethal injection and Johnny just sits and watches idk. (I'm really shit at writing I'm so sorry lollz. Also if I did the comic, it would take place during the trial with like time skips to important events in the past.)
