There is something sacred about fragrance.

The way it settles quietly on the skin, asking nothing, offering comfort.

When I wear it, I feel calm.

Like the world softens its grip for a moment.

Let this bunny have the zoomies in peace.

I see them walking past me, in the same room, eating in the same place.

I’m to scared to go over there.

I’ve tried to love. I want to.

Can you see it, Bunny?

A blue clear sky, a meadow blooming flowers, and the wind blowing.

Us laughing together. Our friends all with us; enjoying the peace of the day.

For just a few minutes the world stoped. Time nothing but a figment. 

When you remind me I don’t have to brace,

that I can open slowly,

at my own pace,

held in your attention.

the quiet one,

the soft‑eared, easily startled heart—

I hope one day someone will love me just as much as I love them.

I give. I have given so much of my heart.

I want kindness and a gentle smile.

Someone that won’t fracture what has been put back together.

I’ll soften when you stay steady with me.

Just… don’t rush the little bunny.
