For context, I follow wis on Tumblr, and I follow Salem on Bluesky (and I think Tumblr too iirc?)

I don't check either platform frequently so most of what happens with people I follow can end up flying under my radar, but I discover this here and a Bluesky that seems to suggest both are bad? And I want to understand better what's happening.

So, what happened? I don't need a super in-depth thing, just an overview is good enough for me, and obviously you don't need to give me anything, but scrolling through this blog there's a lot here, and I want to have some basic info to work with if that's not too much to ask."

to give as much, of a tl:dr as possible. i will copypaste from anothers detailing, of what has gone down:

"the baseline of it is that sawyer/razzicetea and salem dated and broke up some time ago, mainly based on salems behavior and especially regarding his attitudes toward a shared ex. (torin/maewiing, that had groomed several minors on discord as well as other abusive actions) salem sheltered this ex despite knowing fully of their actions, and claimed a traumabond made it hard for him to fully disavow torin. he also claimed they sexually pressured him into acts such as requesting shotacon art of his fursona. this was despite the fact he continued to retweet their art on his page and freely interacted with/followed them privately, where he thought he wouldn't get caught. this has been going on since 2022 and he was caught interacting with them as recent as 2024 mind you.

note: salem understands 100% that torin is an abuser, a groomer, and a liar. he still claims sawyer to be "abusive" for discouraging him from interacting with them.

ADDITION 3/1/25: torin is a kiwifarms user as well. torin speaks spanish, and alongside the "sparklef*ggot" name, and the info given. i have 100% reason to believe, this is her, misgendering and deadnaming salem. TO THIS DAY wis and salem, defend torin. despite her being a nsfw feral/loli artist. an irl child groomer. an abuser. a kiwifarms user. and a transphobe.

next: lilya. lilya was another person in salem/wis/etc's group. this is wis' story regarding lilya.

note: sawyer provided screenshots, wis did not. wis is actively twisting the truth in order to make herself, salem, and lilya seem better against sawyer, despite the fact lilya showcases repeatedly manipulative and abusive behaviors toward both salem and sawyer, such as deadnaming salem, going on the "transfem harassment website" kiwifarms (wis' words), and purposely betraying sawyer for her own amusement.

lastly: mari. mari is a woman who dated sawyer for some time. in this relationship, mari was repeatedly physically, psychologically , and sexually abusive. she had in the past hit sawyer, screamed slurs at them, manipulated them emotionally into things like sex, and during sex, would often not stop when asked or would go rough enough to make sawyer bleed and even tear once. sawyer recalls one time while meeting irl, mari heavily pressured them into taking edibles. after taking these they greened out and fell asleep. upon waking up mari had penetrated sawyer nonconsentually. mari claims to have been "so blackout high she couldnt remember" and stated she "found it odd sawyer could remember everything". it makes sense to me an abuser would memoryhole something awful they did while their victim is forced to struggle with thinking about if this memory could be true or false. ill try to let the pictures speak for themselves.

jesus christ. mind you. this is the same woman that trusted a 16 year old, notorious for lying about his age to get into adult spaces, over other adults. and when it was brought to her attention, she was extremely stupid and gullible to believe someone 10 years her junior over other adults, she had a meltdown. claiming we were evil transphobe abusers that wanted this 16 year old dead, because we would not let him follow her.

note, how quickly and how easily her narrative changes. she is never sorry for anything, even when she is blatantly wrong. her ego does not let her admit it.

There is no good or fair reason that absolves a rapist of their crimes. If someone is murdered, or hit, or stabbed, there's a chance it was self defense. The fact there's no list you can look up to see murderers in your area or abusive people is a different conversation entirely and doesn't make it untrue that sexual crimes are not justifiable. Killers have left jail and killed again. But do you know how many fucking child rapists reoffend? Do you know how helpful it is to keep your community safe by at least knowing these people should NOT be around your family, friends, children?"

tbh. i can see on both sides of this, personally. i could see salem's point, that yes, there is a fairly significant number of trans men with harmful ideas of what a "real" man is, including putting other transmascs down, if they are not masc "enough". for example, the kalvin garrah types, who think unless you 100% medically transition, go on the highest doses of t, and "act male", you are a "trender". when the reality is, AS IF every cisman is a pale, 6'0, jacked, chad jawlined dude bro. the reality is, men come in all shapes and sizes, and to insist there is a correct and incorrect way of being born and living your life, is not just wrong, but ignorant.

HOWEVER. salem's attitude toward transitioning men and mascs, is very clearly disdainful. of his few ocs, with gender affirming care. he retroactively gave one boobs again, and gave the other an hourglass figure, when he was triangular, before.

that in itself, is not inherently bad. tastes can change. but when you look into his posts. he shows, he either has very little understanding of what transitioning is, or how bad dysphoria can get, for other trans men. just because his dysphoria "went away" after, "he let his boobs hang," does not mean that is a capable fix, for transmascs with severe dysphoria. nor does he actually seem to understand HOW binders work, as he assumes they will be a sensory nightmare for him, and assumes that c cup breasts, are "too big for any binder".

similarly. he tried using his experiences as a broad brush, to claim that all trans men have the collective trauma of misogyny, and religious/sexual trauma. i understand, what he was trying to say. but ultimately what he says here is, "you are only scared of femininity, because you are traumatized, so you have to unlearn that" followed up with, positioning himself as some kind of figurehead of trans men, unable to recognize when HE oversteps, yet perfectly able to recognize when OTHERS, overstep his own boundaries.

and to be honest. i get constant messages from trans men now, expressing that salem doing his thing would be fine, but that his yapping about accepting femininity, is actively normalizing this line of thought with NON-trans men. meaning, harmful ideas of what it means to be a trans men are being internalized, and eventually just accepted as fact.

there are other methods that will more consistently stop your period, like birth control if that is your primary motive. i will never discourage someone from transitioning. but they need to be INFORMED PROPERLY about what hrt does, before they consider it. i have several friends on both high and low dose t. i can personally attest all high dose friends have no menstrual cycles anymore, BUT some also experience vaginal atrophy, something salem would not want.

ah. i was wondering where the new suicide threats and vague threats of violence, were coming from. my inbox has been peppered with random threats about my bodily autonomy being forcibly taken from me, i assumed it was salem speaking up about it. typical of him though, to cause problems for someone else and rather than think about his own actions, immediately blame people who want nothing to do with him. he STILL accuses this blog of being his victim, sawyer. and refuses to acknowledge his abuse of them, while pretending to be the victim himself.

Idk, I think about Salem talking about how people "just want him to kill himself/want to kill a black person" when they call him out on stuff and it seems so counterintuitive? While I'm sure he does face racism, I've never seen ppl on this blog say stuff like "salem and wis did shitty stuff and I HOPE THEY DIE", it's literally always something along the lines of "I really wish they'd both do better and stop hurting people". Salem talks constantly about how he wants to grow as a person, but if that was true wouldn't you want people to tell you when you've messed up? Idk, most of what I feel for Salem is just pity because he's going to keep repeating the same lesson on accountability until he learns it, but it genuinely does suck to see a fellow trans person continue this weird cycle of hating himself because he relies on external validation from strangers.
