The Shaman is my favorite tier-one animation set for Dark Deity 2. When I'm animating, I imagine the sounds that the motion would make, and this one is so clear in my head. THUNK THUNK

Dark Deity 2 Ritualist. One of the few classes whose visual design was up to me. I wanted, early on, to ensure that all of these classes have a lot of twists and rotations, as a sort of visual brand. Early concepts were a lot gorier, too >;3c

Elementalist - Dark Deity 2! What a fun class to work on! I had a nearly finished version of the VFX that I scrapped for being too "out there," I'll post that if there's interest 👀

Champion, Dark Deity 2 Went back and forth a few times with the regular attack! I wanted to sell weight AND power without eating up a ton of screen time, so the anticipation and followthrough were heavily debated amongst the team. As for the crit, the "called shot," Babe Ruth style, was an instant hit

Windblade, Dark Deity 2 Wanted to focus on a small number of keyframes to show off speed and power, and I thought use of single-color smear lines would help sell a sort of elegance with the attacks
