there was one fact i knew about deltarune

one fact that now drives me fucking crazy

before i witnessed chapter 5's weird route i didn't even think about it that much

it didn't even matter

but now i don't think i can even look at this game the same way i did 8 years ago

the moment Noelle said these things it finally clicked for me

the fact that i had knew all along had finally changed my view on this game permanently

and yet somehow Noelle found a way to break the game

through you and one word

PROCEED

because video games have boundaries

boundaries that are not meant to be broken

and upon realizing that you are able to break those boundaries

the first thing she askes of you is to see the other side of the lake

the other side is most likely does not exist within the boundaires of this video game

and thus when the both of you start PROCEEDING

the game breaks entirely

sounds become glitchy and the whole lake slowly becomes monochrome

because this is not meant to happen at all in the confines of the video game

and then the chapter just ends on basically the biggest cliffhanger like ever

and ok yes i suppose chapter one had all the gaster shit with the vessel maker at the beginning and gaster basically sending out the chapter one demo being named a survey program or whatever but like

who the actual fuck could've predicted this from toby like holy shit

you can tell from how long this tumblr post is that this like i dunno 5 minute long sequence drove me insane and came to that stupid "hErP dERp tHeiR iN a VodDy GAm"

but like come the fuck on man

one of these types of things has never droven me this crazy

Undertale...i mean i guess i kind of understand how flowey feels now after so long

still tho deltarune being a video game is something i'd never thought would actually play a part in deltarune let alone it's fucking weird route

(ok well maybe undertale's genocide route kinda had that)

and you know deltarune being a video game also makes you think

do Asriel, Dess and Papyrus even fucking exist in this video game?!?!
