It’s just that moment, you know…when anything and everything just loses importance. We’re raging, but we’re not angry. We shove but we’re not fighting. We kiss as if the world is ending, and we only have a few seconds left to live. Then somebody is slammed against a wall, or a door frame and suddenly everything gets real serious. But nothing slows down. It’s as if we want to visit every corner and feel every texture of the room without opening our eyes. Then we feel a sense of anxiousness. Maybe it’s down below; maybe it’s in our hearts. But it takes control. We finally slam into something more comfortable like a bed or a couch, and everything just becomes a blur. Sights, sounds…they don’t matter anymore. The only sense that draws attention is touch, and there can’t be enough of it. I think the final goal is to touch every inch of my skin with yours. And when we’re finally there and we feel like one, I can’t remember how I ever made it through life without you.
