let's take a moment to imagine colton and bunnie working together to try and outrun izzie *skull emoji*
FUCK-UP TEAMWORK
(actually though that is s/t that very much needs to happen… i am srs)
previously on how to get away with murder...
the night izzie went bunnie hunting: bunnie boomer moodboard #4
featuring a direct message to finnigan shitface:
the pizza sauce is bunnie's blood: isobel/bunnie
Bunnie's car had stalled out in the parking lot of some grocery store in town... That was useless! She didn't need fresh corn on the cob or crab cakes. Very little of what a grocery store had to offer her actually interested her. Beer? Gas station. Macaroni? Gas station. Gas for her car? Gas station. It really was a one stop shop. Why couldn't her car have stalled out there?
Where Bunnie was headed didn't even have roads to drive on though... She had made unofficial plans to meet with Finn tonight--as in she left a note the day earlier thanking him for the canned peaches she'd stolen and kindly informed him she'd be back the next night looking for pizza (and maybe a boning session). She trotted along happily under the light of the half moon. She was even whistling... Guns N' Roses, but she was whistling nonetheless. That's when Bunnie sniffed out something familiar.Â
The first time she'd smelled another werewolf, she felt like someone was pouring hot water over her brain. It wasn't pleasant, especially not knowing what it meant. Know that Bunnie had become aware that a damn village of werewolves was hiding out under the quaint facade of Oxford, she had come to enjoy the burning-brain-water feeling. It was like she was in a hot tub.Â
Bunnie continued along, following the smell since it happened to be on the way to Finn's "house" anyways. She broke a stick off from a nearby tree, flicking it in the air to the drum beat Sweet Child o Mine when at last she saw a figure appearing in the distance. It was 70% disgustingly blonde, 30% leather pants.Â

"This stuff is the only thing keeping me sane anymore," Xander said, taking a sip, before looking up at her. "The no-sleeping is optional," he pointed out.
He finished the last, gritty bit of his coffee, before letting out a breath, figuring that sounded crazy, even by his standards. “Bout a week ago, I got force-fed vamper blood. I’m not a fan of the after-effects,” he said quietly. “So avoiding sleep is the best way to avoid… her… until it all gets out of my system.
Bunnie's eyebrows shot in the air. She didn't care that he'd been forced to consume vampire blood, only that he was flat out telling her this after having seen her face for 30 seconds. Bunnie rarely even gave out her real name. Even when she did, no one actually believed that anyone would name their daughter Bunnie, let alone when her last name was Boomer. Her name sounded like a vintage comic book superhero that got scratched at the drawing boards.Â
"You're trying to get a lot out of your system..." She mumbled. She shook her jaw from side to side while she tried to decide whether or not she wanted to engage in this tomfoolery...
Bunnie popped into the chair across from Xander, leaning back on two chair legs, her boots on the table. She chewed on her thumb, staring at him. "That'll help clear you out." She pointed at the sketchy cup of coffee.Â
A Proposition for the Bunnie | Ronnie & Bunnie (closed)
Ronnie could smell the werewolf before she walked over to the bar. There weren’t many werewolves in town who’s scent Ronnie didn’t recognize, and this was one of them. Ronnie immediately assumed the newcomer was Bunnie. And as she watched the interaction between the bartender and the redhead, Ronnie’s suspicions were verified. Spunky? Check. Vagabond who clearly needed money? Check. Red head? Double check. This was Ronnie’s girl.Â
And then she remembered why this stranger was her girl and Ronnie’s laugh died in her throat. She turned away from the redhead, greedily accepting the drink the bartender took from her as if she hadn’t had a drink in years.  If it weren’t for the circumstances, Ronnie would’ve liked this girl, she would’ve even wanted to befriend her, maybe. And yet here she was, about to offer the chance of a lifetime. The chance to throw her life away forever. The thought of it gave Ronnie a bad taste in her mouth.Â
But she had to do it. She knew Logan would kill her if she didn’t at least approach the girl. Eventually, Ronnie rose and slid over to the barstool next to Bunnie’s. “You’re Bunnie, right?” she asked, taking a sip of beer. She knew she was, and yet a part of her, couldn’t help but hold out on the hope that maybe she was mistaken.Â
Bunnie had been tapping her foot to a tune playing in her head, the toe of her boots making a thumping sound against the side of the bartop. As the bartender slid a beer across the bartop to her, she felt like nothing in the world could bring her down from this high. Acting like a functioning human being wasn't so bad after all; she'd have to try it more often. Maybe she would get a mortgage, replace her mattress every eight years, take her car in for an oil change. Bunnie chugged her beer. Maybe tomorrow.Â
She was happily jammin to the (probably Johnny Cash ripoff) tune in her head when for the 100th time someone in Oxford knew her damn name. Most days here, Bunnie felt like she was under a spotlight, being stalked by little wolfpups who wanted to get to know her and welcome her to the family. Bunnie had never been good at families; she'd stabbed her own father, and she wasn't going to get any better anytime soon. Who among the Oxford population would she stab first?
As Bunnie's neck painfully craned sideways to lay her eyes upon the owner of the voice, she decided that this girl would make a fine pick. There was probably some shmuck around town who was in love with her big eyes and her pouty lips. They would spread the word to just leave Bunnie Boomer the fuck alone in her car in the middle of the woods.Â
"No. Why? Who wants to know? I own a gun. My name's Obama." She said this all with no inflection in 2 seconds flat.Â
garbage people: finn(IGAN) & bunnie (closed)
Luckily being a wolf meant his body heat would prevent goosebumps, because he could practically feel his spine tingling and his skin crawling as she moved her knife over, down, around… Fuck. was he really getting turned on by this?
It wasn’t the first time he’d been held at knife point, obviously. It was a weekly occurrence, to be honest — Finnigan Sanders was a glorified piece of shit. He didn’t just live in a fucking forest by choice, he had made so many enemies on the outside that if he actually had a home on a street with a road and a front door that wasn’t made out of hippie beads, that house would be burned to the ground by this point. Shit and pissed on, egged and ransacked and blown to smithereens a thousand times over. The forest was a defense mechanism.
Also he couldn’t afford to live on the grid; he wasn’t a fucking prince. Or a Belfront. Or a human being with any motivation.
He didn’t know where she motioned to. Finn didn’t really care where her shirt was, or what it looked like, or where the fake stain probably was, or how it got there, or why it wasn’t on her body. He especially didn’t care when her knife reached his belly button. In fact, he really only cared when she pocketed her knife and turned to walk away. He could get down with knives. Were they not gonna get down? With knives?
Finn let out a low growl, his eyes narrowing as she spit the bottle cap into the sink next to her stupid shirt. This fuckin’ chick. “I. Don’t. Care. About. The. Stain. On. Your. Shirt. I. Just. Want. You. OUT. OF. MY. HOUSE.” Finn stomped over, grabbing her elbow and leading to the “door.” “Lady. you are some next level form of crazy if you think you can waltz on into my home, drink the beers I paid for —” (he did not pay for those beers ever) “— and expect me to just let you stay,” Finn rambled, giving her a shove outside. “That’s a law. Probably everywhere not just in Mississippi.” Finn knew nothing about the law. This was hypocritical. “So — fuck you, ya lady temptress! And fuck your shirt! —” Finn picked up his own shirt he had left out on a stump, tossing it at her “—aaand fuck you for eating my peanut butter!”
He was tempted to add a 'Git off my lawn, ya hear?!' but Finn was a classy man. Also he didn’t have a lawn.
Bunnie was just minding her own business (in someone else's house), drinking some beer, chowing down on some peanut butter. This guy was blowing things waaaay out of proportion. So yes, she did barge in, steal his food and beverage, and threaten him (though he seemed to like it). But Bunnie did that nearly every day! How did the general population of the American south not already know to just let her have what she wanted? She was going to get it even if they fought back. When Bunnie stumbled upon this mansion of a house, all she was interested in was a good shirt cleaning and maybe a little alcoholic nutrition. She'd found something much more intriguing in the process, though. This guy was hilarious. And he was shirtless. And they seemed to have very similar decorating styles.Â
Bunnie was just laughing her ass off as he went about shoving her out the door. "I am a lady!" She said in a sarcastic flabbergasted voice. "Don't you touch me like th--" She could go on all day pulling at his strings (maybe the ones around his waist), but he had thrown something in her face to get her to shut up. Wise move. Bunnie huffed and puffed the shirt away, making a face. "This smells." She looked up at him. "Is this yours?" Bunnie was by no means the type of person with the right to judge someone for smelling or general hygiene, even just simply being a living person; the fact that she was not supposed to do something had never stopped her before though.
She too, was a bit hypocritical, because as she was shooting him judgey looks she was putting on the mammoth of a shirt. It passed her shorts (not that her shorts had very much fabric to them anyways) and made her appear bottomless. He brought this upon himself. Bunnie waved the extra fabric around her body. She was all put making a home for herself inside his probably .50 cent article of clothing when she looked back up at him with a look of utter ~kerfufflement. "Hey, fuck you too, man. You didn't even have the good kind." She then proceeded to flick him off. "Who buys creamy?"
"Screw writing “strong” women. Write interesting women. Write well-rounded women. Write complicated women. Write a woman who kicks ass, write a woman who cowers in a corner. Write a woman who’s desperate for a husband. Write a woman who doesn’t need a man. Write women who cry, women who rant, women who are shy, women who don’t take no shit, women who need validation and women who don’t care what anybody thinks. They are all okay, and all those things could exist in the same woman. Women shouldn’t be valued because we are strong, or kick-ass, but because we are people. So don’t focus on writing characters who are strong. Write characters who are people."

Andreanna’s brow raised as the girl surprised her yet again, and she let out a soft laugh, shaking her head. “I like you too,”she replied, holding out her hand. “I’m Andreanna, Andreanna Cahill.”
Bunnie glanced down at the girls hand like it was an alien. "Naaaw," she gruffed with a shake of her head. She wasn't that chummy. Instead, she bro-nodded like an idiot. "Bunnie." She had been introducing herself as Bunnie for so long (25 years in fact... because Bunnie was 25) that she forget how ridiculous her name was. Usually people were so put-off by her disposition, though, that they didn't bother to inquire why her parents named her after a rabbit. She was certainly no fluffy Peter Cottontail. She ate Peter Cottontails for dinner more than once a month.Â
Wait For Me || (OPEN)
Xander raised an eyebrow at her. “You’re very observant,” he snarked, as he took a sip from his bottom-of-the-barrell 60 cent cup of coffee- he was in it to stay awake, not for the taste, and he couldn’t very well just keep making coffee at Everett’s without him getting suspicious.
After his sip, though, Xander drew a breath. “Sorry, that was rude. I get edgy when I don’t sleep too much,” he replied, feeling genuinely bad. Xander wasn’t the kind of guy for rude remarks, but the last two weeks had thrown him off his norm completely. “You are dead on, though. I feel like shit,” he said. “Just in case you wanted the confirmation your vision is still excellent,” he said, offering a slight, self-deprecating grin.
Bunnie's eyebrows raised in shock, the corners of the lips turning down in a more than slightly impressed look. This guy, as he had said, had been having a rough go as of late... he was still more polite than Bunnie. In fact, life was going great in Bunnie's eyes! She had a full tank of gas, figured out how to pick the lock of a vacant motel in town... and the weather was nice out today. Bunnie could be an optimistic person. She had a softer side. She liked watching clouds. She could function as a normal person sometimes.Â
Crossing her arms across her chest, Bunnie nodded to him humming and huhhing as she nodded her head observantly. "Shit. I got 12 hours last night." It was then that Bunnie glanced around her like she was being hunted... She didn't want people getting idea! Like she was friendly! Like she was approachable! Pish posh. The coast was clear, so she slid into the chair across from blondey grumpycat and leaned in. She picked up his cup of coffee and sniffed it like an animal. Bunnie made a face. Coffee was definitely not for her. "Agck, it's probably this stuff ruining your day."
Wait For Me || (OPEN)
Of late, Xander seemed to look worse and worse by the day. Due to his unwanted vampiric visitor, he avoided sleeping as much as possible, and it seemed to leave him with permanent circles under his eyes and a posture as if he was carrying something heavy, when really his muscles were just protesting from the lack of rest. The past couple weeks had him partly regret his pact with Holly to not drink anymore, because he felt if he could just calm his brain enough, he could truly sleep. Everyone who knew what happened assured him that the nightmares would fade, but the hadn’t even started to do so in the slightest. About the only thing keeping him sane was his fellow wolves, a few in particular, and the fact he replaced his alcohol consumption almost exactly in volume with caffeine consumption just to stay awake and keep moving. So Xander went to the coffee shop on his way home from work, a familiar enough face of late that he didn’t even have to say his order before the barista started to fill it, and gave him his drink. Not trusting himself to drive back home until the caffeine worked its magic, Xander took a seat- or, more appropriately, collapsed into a seat- near the windows, just watching the passersby through sleep-fogged eyes.
Bunnie was not at all about the $4.00 coffee lifestyle. If she wanted to feel more awake, she'd just dunk her head in water. And if she wanted to waste the money she didn't have, she'd go to the dentist. And thus, Bunnie rarely (as in never) went into any sort of coffee shop. She avoided the one in Oxford like a cop with a wanted photo, because frankly she had a phobia of espresso machines. Today, however, had presented a fun new adventure for Bunnie when she realized she had to pee. Right now.Â
Taking a deep breath, Bunnie charged inside the stupidly funky coffee shop where she felt like everyone was reading a book written by a dead guy and headed straight for the bathroom. Literally nothing else could get Bunnie into a coffee shop. After she emerged, however, she found herself tickled by a shitfaced guy holding onto a cup of joe for dear life. She recognized her spidey senses going off immediately, amazed how much damn werewolves could live in Oxford.Â
She stood before him, looking down on his weary posture in the booth. "You look like shit." But between the two of them, she was the homeless one who ate Doritos last night for dinner so... Who was she to talk?

A Proposition for the Bunnie | Ronnie & Bunnie (closed)
Ronnie hated drug dealing. It was quite possibly the one thing in the world that actually made her nervous. When Logan had offered her drugs when they were teens, she had thought that was the most illegal thing she would ever do. And yet, years later, Logan had managed to manipulate her into being one of his favorite traffickers. She hated it, but had easily become one of the best in Logan’s little gang.Â
Eventually, though, Logan was looking to expand his reach. He wanted more traffickers so that he sell more product and obviously, make more money. He kept a pretty good tab on people within the Oxford community so when news got to him that a newcomer had made her way into town and seemed to be somewhat homeless, Logan leapt at the opportunity. Sending Ronnie, because girl talk and all that shit, with a proposition for the spunky vagabond, Logan felt sure he would have a new alliance for sure.Â
Ronnie wasn’t so certain. In fact, she was more pissed off the fact that she was the one being forced to approach a complete stranger and asking them to join in in a completely illegal activity. Something that could easily get her arrested. On top of that, she didn’t know where to fucking start to find this girl. She vaguely knew what she looked like and her name was Bunnie, but that was about it.Â
In frustration, Ronnie headed to Oxford Barr. Logan had given her a shit assignment and since he didn’t seem to think it was necessary to give her more to work with, she didn’t really find it necessary to work quickly. She could enjoy a drink or two while he waited. Served him right.Â
Bunnie had spent more than her usual stint of time in Oxford. A normal trip for her meant driving into a motel parking lot, staying the night in her car instead of paying $49 for a bed and a toilet, finding the cheapest liquor store in town, maybe passing through a homeless shelter for soup day, and siphoning gasoline out of some schmuck's car to continue her way east. Bunnie had done a considerable amount more in Oxford. People knew her name... her goddamn name, and they kept saying hi to her and asking about that time she tried to shoot Everett. What the hell was wrong with these people? What made them think she cared enough to respond?
...but as much as Bunnie would bitch and gripe about being bothered by all these friendly folk, she wasn't doing much to try leaving. Maybe she didn't want to admit thinking it was cool being around other werewolves... maybe she didn't even know she thought it was cool. As someone with the emotional maturity of a hungry toddler, Bunnie couldn't stand to think that hard about her feelings before she started to get a stress migraine. But regardless, something or someone was keeping her in Oxford.Â
On tonight's episode of Bunnie Boomer in Mississippi, she strode into the Oxford Barr like a ridiculous cowboy from a Clint Eastwood western movie... boots wearing, frown toting, hip leading and all. She might as well have been chewing on a piece of straw. When Bunnie buckled her way over to the bar top, the bartender immediately started shaking his head. "No no no, Bunnie. Not tonight. Get out." He, of course, was referring to the several times Bunnie had come in, ordered a few drinks, and then left without paying. She was surprised he hadn't arrested her.Â
Proudly, Bunnie held up a ten dollar bill above her head. "Green!" She slammed it onto the bar top. "Trade ya," she slid it toward him and licked her lips in anticipation for her usual. The fact that she could come to a bar where the bar tender already knew her order gave her the feeling of butterflies in her stomach. That was love to Bunnie Boomer. In all of her proud glory for having ten dollars (which she had pick pocketed anyways), Bunnie hadn't noticed an eyebrow-fierce brunette staring at her from a few stools away.Â
