Zac Efron as Ted Bundy, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil And Vile (2019)
On the evening of the 22nd of December, 1981, Bobby and Judy Hinson of Valdese, North Carolina, kissed their 19-year-old daughter, Rhonda Annette Hinson, goodbye as she left their home to attend an office party at the American Legion Hall. “She looked the most beautiful I had ever seen her on that night,” recalled her mother, Judy. Unbeknownst to them, this was the last time they would ever see their daughter alive.
Several hours later, Rhonda’s lifeless body would be discovered less than a mile from her family home. Her body was found in a ditch beside her beige Datsun 210. A high-powered bullet had passed through the rear of her car and struck in her the back, killing her. Rhonda’s last steps were retraced in an attempt to turn up some clues as to who could have committed such an act on Rhonda, who was said to have absolutely no enemies.
After leaving her family home, she drove to a female friend’s house. Leaving her car there, the two friends then drove together in another car to the party at the American Legion Hall. “She was torn about whether to go to the party, but never told us why,” Judy recalled. “Her boyfriend, who was in college at home at the time, didn’t want her to go.” Rhonda had intended on staying overnight at her friend’s home that night but changed her mind for reasons that still remain unknown today. At around midnight, she left her friend’s home and headed towards her own house.
Rhonda was extremely close to her own home when she was shot through her car. The bullet pierced her heart and lung. Her body was found in a ditch beside her car. The pathologist determined that due to her injury, it would have been impossible for her to open the door and exit the car herself. So how did she end up in the ditch and who fired the shot that killed her? The focus has always been on two theories: Was she targeted by somebody she knew or was she the victim of a random - or accidental - shooting? Judy thinks she was targeted while her father believes she was shot accidentally by people messing around with a gun.
As of today, Rhonda’s murder still remains unsolved.
Harvey Glatman was a serial killer who operated between August 1st, 1957 and July 13, 1958. He was nicknamed the “Glamour Girl Slayer” and the “Lonely-Hearts Killer” because he liked to troll around modeling agencies in California in search of potential victims. An aspiring photographer with an exceptionally high IQ, he would contact these models under different aliases and ask them if they could pose for photos for a pulp fiction magazine with the promise of money in return. When they accepted, he would take them to his apartment where they were forced to strip. After raping them, he would dress them up, bind and gag them. After snapping many photos of the terrified, sobbing models, he would then drive them 125 miles out into the desert, take more flash photos, and use a rope to strangle them. His female victims would either be buried or left out in the open to decay or be eaten by animals. Harvey was arrested after getting into a scuffle with one of his potential victims in his car. She managed to snatch his gun and the both of them tumbled out of the car, where they were spotted by a police officer. Harvey received the death penalty, and although his lawyers tried to arrange for appeals, he refused. He wanted to die, saying, “It’s better this way. I knew this was the way it would be.” Harvey got his way on August 18, 1959, when he was placed in the gas chamber.

On March 12, 1974 Ted Bundy murdered Donna Manson and incinerated her skull in his girlfriends fireplace. Following is an excerpt from a coversation between himself and Robert Keppel:
“I never wanted to tell this - I promised myself I’d never tell this, because of all the things I did to this woman, this was probably the one she was least likely to forgive me for. Poor Liz. (He was referring to Elizabeth Kendall, his former fiancee.) In her fireplace. That’s not really that humerous, but I mean, the fireplace at the house.” Ted said.
“Burn it all up?” Keppel asked.
“Down the the last ash, and in a fit of - you know - paranoia and cleanliness, what have you, just vacuumed down all the ashes. That’s the twist. It’s a twist. And it’s a lot of work and certainly very risky, under the circumstances. I mean, the kids come home from school, there’s a roaring fire in the fireplace, and it’s warm outside.”
While studying law for his upcoming murder trial, Ted Bundy became distracted by a particular female paparazzi who he’d allowed to take pictures of him. When he’d read enough, he closed his books, went over to the camera and bared his teeth in an exaggerated grin, making the woman collapse in a fit of giggles. The photographer later said the serial killer was “The most attractive and charming man I’d ever spent 10 minutes with.”
Mass Suicide at Jonestown
On November 18, 1978, the leader of the most deadly non-natural disaster in U.S. history until September 11, 2001 named Jim Jones lead an American cult called the Peoples Temple.
