don't let your life fly by

                        ❝ oh, i’ve got plenty to say! ❞

        “Oh, really? Is any of it even worth my time?”

     “call it instinct. i’ve had customers       like this before.”                        oh, i bet they do.”

           “Instinct, huh? I can buy that.         Must be a pretty exciting job here,         if that’s the case.”

       “hey, no shame.         lemme guess, you’re also independent with         morals even stronger than your tastes.”

      “Where ever did you get that from?                   Although, I think my tastes win out in the end.”

                       ❝ oh, c’mon. don’t make me laugh. ha ha! ❞

             “How CUTE. Have anything better to say?”

       “so you show up late at night with an         order like that —                     somethin’ go down tonight or                     is it just the time for adventure?”

“It’s not nice to judge. Perhaps a little bit of both.  I’m a woman of strong tastes and bad life choices.”

❛  dunno what my boyfriend would think of that,  ❜  she laughed.  ❛  but that’s very true. maybe i will, one day. i’m nancy, by the way.  ❜

          “The boyfriend, huh? It’s your hair, live a little. Or don’t because             what do I know? Oh, and I’m Casey.”

❛  — quite like your hair,  ❜  is all she says as she slides the drink towards the woman.   ❛  wish i had the courage to do mine that short, but i never do.  ❜  

          “Thank you, and thank you---” For the compliment and the drink,          affording the girl with a quick smile. “You can always grow it back          if you don’t like it, if anything.”

        “huh. i’d hate to see the order for the worse.          how strong are you thinkin’?”

          “Exactly. Enough to knock me out and not die the next day,            for starters, that would be nice.”

               “—wow.                day was that bad, huh?”

       “Granted, it could have been worse, but. Oh yeah.”

    ❝ guys are gross. that’s why i’ve GIVEN      UP on them.❞ the poor stranger she’s talking      to better shut her up quick before she keeps      rambling on. this is what happens when you’ve      got a slightly-drunk teenage girl sitting on the      curb talking to whoever passes by. chandler      was her ride home, and, well… after what      happened at the party, it’d be weird if she      still gave her a ride home.

    "To be perfectly honest, couldn't have said    it better myself." And even thought she wasn't    quite sure what the girl was talking about,    there was no helping the chuckle that fell    from the woman's lips. Tilting her head as    she got a good look at the stranger, a brow    rose as she gently tapped the toe of her heel    into the girl's side. "But, uh, you doing alright    down there?"
