Sivir is a strong person, after all she survived a near death experience. Emotionally, she's pretty open but that wasn't always the case. When Sivir was younger, way before K/DA, she was pretty guarded and distrustful. It was even worse during Cassiopeia era. Sometimes those old habits come back in form of insecurities.

Kai'sa is aware about Sivir's background and her past. So she's not concerned when Sivir suddenly gets a bit snappy and guarded about specific topics- trust, relying on other people, actually letting others in her life.

Kai'sa is patient with Sivir. She doesn't push her to talk about it. Something that Sivir discovered is that she tends to relax more with Kai'sa's physical comfort. Kai'sa just has this way of relaxing your body and making the insecurities roll off your back.

It's a slow process but Kai'sa is patient. She knows Sivir responds well with gentle kisses, back massages, and letting her hold her close. It's all physical, as if Sivir is trying to remember that not everyone has a cold knife waiting to attack. It's warm. It's soft. It's Kai'sa. And she doesn't have secrets, just love.
