[ His eyebrows went up quicker than they’d dropped into the frown. That was… better flirting than even he could muster up on his bad days. Not as good as his good days, however, and his competitive side flared at the thought. He licked his lips, and grinned. ]
”Let me guess, you’re a girl in her right mind?”
[ He gave her a look up and down, subconsciously licking his lips again before meeting her eyes. ]
”Because you’re definitely in the right body.”
[ He licked his lips, and for a second Thea thought she might faint, or worse giggle stupidly -and then faint. Keep it together Thea! You can do this. ]
” Ain’t turnin yah down, now am I? “
[ Her eyebrow flicked up mischievously at the rhetorical question, her eyes watching his intently. She’s never been looked at like that, she wasn’t usually noticed -more of the tough quiet type, speakin up only when she really had somethin worth sayin. It had been different in the Glade, the other girls were… well, just the girls as one of the older girls people who needed her came and found her, she’d had a sort of recognition that had been effortless. But here… she didn’t particularly wanted to be seen, the way people looked at her once they knew -oh god, what if he found out she wasn’t immune? What if he stopped looking at her like this, like she was pretty and worth looking at all night… What if he started seeing her like everyone else did? She didn’t think she could survive that. It would kill her for sure. Suddenly she felt a little ill, her flirty smile faltering as she stumbled over words. ]

[ Stiff as a board or petrified animal she turned, and then like a shot she broke into a sprint disappearing deeper into the tents and crowds of the camp]
