I’ve had this in the works for quite sometime. One off comic to a zine i’ve been working aimlessly on for the past few months. I think i’ve posted about it here a few times in other places so yeah.
here’s is the context to comic; Phil’s and his roommate got into an argument over something that happend rather recent. Phil left for about maybe five minutes to regain his composure. He comes back to the room only to find what was once his shared living space is not a space of blue and a nine foot tall humanoid figure known as Dr.Sunshine stands where his roommate once stood. Yeah he’s at first confused and convinced he’s tripping. he quickly finds out this guy what ever the hell he is not to be fucked with. To sum it up he learns a very quick lesson that he shouldn’t fuck around with roommate or else he’ll find out.

i am so glad you asked... but, BE WARNED. this might be a longer explanation then you think it would be (because i'm incredibly normal about this band).
if any other tally hall fans see this & i messed anything up about the information PLEASE tell me!! i'm not the best with processing/wording things properly most of the time ;-;
this also might be super unorganized. oops.
i'm writing this with a keyboard so it's hopefully easier to type.
tally hall is a band originally formed in ann arbor, michigan some time in the early 2000s. they are made up of 5 members who each have their own tie colors corresponded to them. basically - rob cantor = yellow tie, joe hawley = red tie, zubin sedghi = blue tie not the right shade sorry, andrew horowitz = green tie, & ross federman = gray tie. there's also bora karaca (orange tie), who many consider to be 'the sixth member of tally hall'. i can't give him a different color than rob. how do i just make rob yellow. help
small tangent - is it spelled gray or grey...??? i've always spelled it gray. is it both? is it different for some places? is there one correct spelling????
tally hall's genre was originally described as "wonky rock" until people started trying to define what that truly meant, so they instead came up with the word 'fabloo' to describe their music. lovely.
oh....? you want to hear more about marvin's marvelous mechanical museum...?????? well then I SHALL TELL YOU MOREE!!!!
but tally hall doesn't just make music. nonono... they even had an internet show that started in 2008. it's filled with tons of absurd skits & stories, & even some of their music videos from their first album, marvin's marvelous mechanical museum. it's a very entertaining watch, & if you have about 2 hours on your hands you can watch the whole thing yourself..!! :D

this... was the last tally hall album. after it came out (& they had a tour for it), the band went on an indefinite hiatus. it has been 15 years since the release of good & evil. since then, each of the members have had their own side projects. let's talk about those now, shall we?
starting off with probably the most well known of these (and also my favorite thing related to tally hall EVER), there was miracle musical (or ミラクルミュージカル), which was mainly produced by joe hawley. it has involvement from every tally hall member (except andrew), plus many more artists. their only album, hawaii: part ii, was released on 12/12/2012, but wouldn't gain as much attention until songs like murders and the mind electric started being used for memes. it's a perfect album GO LISTEN TO IT but also it's incredibly dark so BE CAREFUL PLEASE ; ;
another project created by joe hawley is the album "joe hawley joe hawley", a comedy rap album that also happens to have every other tally hall member involved, actually including andrew this time wowoow... it's alright :)
though, more recently, rob has been working for disney making music. he did a lot of songs for a show called "the ghost and molly mcgee" but has mostly made music for disney junior. seriously if you look at his releases page on yt it's all disney junior albums
rob cantor also has a solo career, making viral videos like "shia labeouf live" and "29 celebrity impressions, 1 original song" where he pretended to do impressions of a ton of celebrities (it was a hoax, he got others to do impressions instead) while ""singing"" his song, 'perfect', from not a trampoline. wow i'm so good at transitioning you guys heh
also he's releasing a new album this year and he released a music video for one of the songs and the tally hall youtube page rose from the dead after like 16 years to promote it on their community tab WHAT THE FUCK????
ok i took like a 30 minute long break from writing so things are gonna get more simplified here now. i'm tired.
zubin is a doctor now apparently. imagine your doctor being zubin sedghi. insane.
andrew made a solo album under the name edu called sketches (which was also re-released under sketches 3d), and a couple piano albums. sketches is a very pretty album, i first listened to it yesterday. i recommend it :D
ross did the drums for rob's new song iirc? also has a DJing career? ALSO working in biology fields??? i didn't know any of this before researching...
and last but not least, bora has a band called cojum dip and they released their first album in 2014. it's the last of these projects i need to listen to, i'm pretty sure.
ok uh. that's all i got. hope you enjoyed my rambling, and i hope it wasn't too confusing! i was kinda rushing to get to the conclusion at the end here... i've been writing since 9:30 am. it's 12:27 pm. hahahhh. ok i'm taking a nap

TallyHall also has had merch deals with youtooz at least twice. first back in 2023 where they sold limited run plushies and then again in 2025 where they sold vinyl figures and you got a free Bora karaca plush if you bought all of them
(since they were limited run you can’t buy them unless you look second— i know sad rip joe howley plush would’ve loved to have you in my collection of physically media)
They also have a nice collection of vinyl, Cd’s, cassette tapes and 8 track tapes under the record label (needlejuice) it just take ages to ship since it’s a small label
miracle musical also has a really small merch shop that sells Hawaii part ii vinyl and i believe one Tshirt and maybe a hoodie.
