Do you think Bughead will have kids? PLEASE describe all headcanons related to the amount of kids/names/parenting etc.
Ok oh my God firstly thank you for this gorgeous ask! This is one cool way to get rid of those pesky anxious vibes!
As far as Bughead and kids- I have like a million head cannons but these are the ones I like most:
1. All of Betty’s pregnancies proceed very smoothly. She gains a lot of weight each time and although she bemoans it, Jughead is constantly turned on by her (much to her annoyance, amusement and secret delight).
2. She gives birth naturally to all her kids except the youngest, for which they get an elective C-section. Jughead constantly hovers and gives the doctors a really hard time until Betty threatens to kick him out of the labour room.
3. Their first born is a boy, a perfect replica of Jughead except for his eyes that are a copy of his mother’s. They name him Benjamin Forsythe Jones, but call him ‘ Benji’. The nickname sticks till he turns 5 and asks explicitly to be called Ben. He is a voracious reader but unlike his parents a lover of the horror genre more than crime. He worships Stephen King and his room is like a shrine to the author. He is anxious by nature and slightly anti-social until he befriends Varchie’s daughter Selma. He very predictably ends up falling in love with her.
4. Their twin girls, Stella and Brit, four years younger than Ben are replicas of their mother and very much the apple of their daddy’s eyes. They’re smart, sporty and slightly cheeky. They’re best friends and Betty often worries if it’s normal for the two of them to always be hanging out on their own. Cheryl reassures her it is ( which only fuels her anxiety more.)
5. Samuel is also blonde, only two years younger than the twins and resembles neither one of his parents but his uncle Charles. Which also means he kind of looks like both his parents. And his Grandpa FP. And Grandma Alice. It’s complicated. He’s still a baby but Jughead is a hundred percent sure he’s the only one of his kids who has inherited his appetite.
6. Of the two of them Betty is considered the disciplinarian but as they grow older, her kids will bear witness to the fact that their mother is also the sneakier one when it comes to any kind of rule breaking. Dad just follows instructions. Dad is cool but not in a badass kind of way ( Mom’s the badass). Dad is just really laid back and chill. Jughead loves this.
