He went out and saw some hawks and deer in the forest. He found a mine, called Embershard. It was full of bandits. He was curious what was in there. He snuck around and fought the bandits off, mainly one by one if he could, and using sneaking to the best of his ability. He picked up any mushrooms or coins on the way and found a few coins and some better armor and weapons than what he already had. Some of the dead enemies’ axes were steel, that’s nice. He took along as much as he could and headed back to the merchant Lucan’s goods shop to sell most of it.
Afterward, he met Faendal again and he was carrying wood because he loved chopping it as much as or even more than he liked hunting. That’s how he made most of his money, chopping wood for other people. Bugeed was slightly interested for cash but it also seemed like a boring task. He decided to try it out, but he had to find a woodcutting axe because Faendal forgot where another one was and the shop had none to sell. Bugeed searched for hours and finally found one after it was getting dark out.
He followed Faendal home and asked if he could carry some of the wood to be sold the next day. Faendal agreed and even allowed Bugeed to borrow a key to his house. Awesome! Now Bugeed had a place to store some of his junk he wanted to keep.
Bugeed dropped off his things in a corner, and put the smaller things inside the nightstand. Faendal was cooking. Faendal didn't mind if Bugeed used his little one person bed to catch a few zee's. Cool, that was so nice of Faendal, now using the inn for sleeping was no longer necessary. Bugeed rested for several hours. Then got up and let Faendal sleep.
Then he went to the cooking pot to try out cooking. Bugeed hardly knew how to cook, and all he knew how to make was some foods from back home in Hammerfell.
The next day, Bugeed went to Lucan's shop and sold some of the things he was holding on to that he found at Helgen. Now he could afford to rest on a bed at the inn. The shopkeeper chatted about a thief who had stoled a precious item and asked if Bugeed would help. Maybe he thought. Not now. He went to the inn for a good long sleep.
After getting up and going outside, he met an elf named Faendal who seemed pretty friendly. He helped the elf with an issue over a lady in town and another guy interested in her. After that, the elf was most appreciative and offered to go along on adventures. Not now, Bugeed decided. He was going to discover more of the area first and pick up more junk along to way to sell.
When Bugeed was introduced to Skyrim he became confused and somewhat angry. This country sure wasn't very welcoming. He gets arrested while picking flowers. They take his clothes and money and everything he had with him and nearly have him beheaded-for what? Then a dragon attacks and people are dying everywhere. He follows a soldier out of the hellhole, a soldier who minutes ago was sending him to the chopping block. WTF?
He takes Bugeed to these strange upright rocks for a blessing and heads for a town called Riverwood. On the way the soldier, his name is Hadvar, proceeds to ask him to join the Imperial Legion. What an irony, anyway. They arrive at Riverwood and Bugeed is introduced to Alvor, a blacksmith. In Alvor's house, there is a discussion between Hadvar, Alvor and Bugeed about the events at Helgen and some basic things about Skyrim, and a few issues are explained. Bugeed is still quite confused about most things here. Alvor decided to give Bugeed some supplies, and a few smithing lessons, which he highly appreciated. When everyone went to bed, he decided to explore the town even though he was tired.
