its cold and cruel in the moment

but you understand the warmth later

the suffering is over

they are at peace

we are left with the ache

a hole in our hearts that we will desperatly try to fill

clawing and yearning for this tragedy to pass

the grief will come and go

like waves to the shore

it laps at our minds

creeping in like a tide

it is cold but when it goes you are left with the fond memories of what was

cherish the moments you had

- we have more mugs than normal cups, so we drink out of mugs most of the time.

- he normally wakes up before me which gives me a reason to get out of bed and come find him in the living room.

- my car is parked in a garage, what a luxury.

- the space is entirely our own, we decorate how we want and the creative freedom is wonderful. my parents were pretty judgy and made it know if they didn't like something.

- he supports my art. he likes it hung up and likes to see my projects and know my plans. its so refreshing being with someone who listens and lets you take up space with your passions.

- i dont have to wear pants at home, i hate pants.

- im not refilling my gas tank once a week for a job thats 30 minutes away.
