Dancing Dandelions

A larger (9x12 in) version of the small watercolour I did a few days ago

I usually work at a much smaller scale for my watercolours, so this was an interesting change! This version has iridescent paint on the dandelion puffs too (hard to photograph so I didn't bother with a photo from another angle)

Watercolour Dandelions. I tried some iridescent paints on the puffballs (the last two pics are an attempt to capture the shimmering effect!)

#watercolour #on the first painting in the second image I tried the technique where you leave a little white halo around everything #I was not really a fan of how it looked so I tried another one where I didn't do that and I think it's more successful #still sad the paper ripped around my favourite one (first)
