I have to keep reminding myself it’s called “doing the work” for a reason. It’s not EASY to awaken. It’s not easy to transcend patterns of thought that your mind has built up as a coping mechanism over 24 years. It’s not going to change overnight or after meditating for a week, a month, even a year. It’s going to be hard and sometimes I will be disillusioned but I will keep at it so in 20 years I can thank myself for building a beautiful, strong foundation.

is there a subgenre of academia that encompasses the supernatural? Vampire Diaries, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Harry Potter? I feel like it’s a very particular subset of the genre but it can also extend out to Sherlock Holmes and Riverdale. Or maybe I’m just describing my own specific interests!! My own *~aesthetic~* ＼(^^)／
