My partner is physically disabled, and PhD households aren’t eligible for most forms of financial support. Which means we’re a little hard up at the moment. So, having successfully written 100,000 words of fanfiction, I figured I’d open up my commissions 😊

I will write both long and shortform content, with just about any amount of spice. Gen Audiences to Explicit, Friendship fics to full smut, Yaoi, Yuri, AUs, Furry, Brony – it’s all good with me!

My prices are £10-15 per 1000 words, depending on the complexity of the task.

You want Liaos and Kabru to make out? That’s £10. You want Guilemann to top Lorgar at Monarchia in the writing style of a HH book… That’s £15.

There may also be an additional charge of £1-5 per 1000 for particularly extreme gore/other sensitive content – this will be discussed ahead of time.

There’s a deposit of 50%, and the rest is payable once the commission is finished.

So, I set out to start making some spruemodels. Sketched out templates and so forth. I had a quite successful attempt at a necron destroyer

and a less successful attempt at an Aeldari shining spear (her arm and spear were kinda made after I'd given up a bit, hence why theyre... lower effort)

maybe i attempt to take my lessons learned to try and make a striking scorpion.

So, after my successful creation of a Spruecron template (for a lokhust destroyer), I've planned out the task of making an army post-phd. Because I'm me the list is erm, something. It's 3 Lokhust Lords, 18 Lokhust destroyers, 9 Heavy Lokhust Destroyers, 18 Tomb Blades... and some other stuff once I work out whats easiest to make (flayed ones, canoptek constructs high on the likelihood)

They need a theme, they need lore. Now I know they're all destroyers, but we're gonna pretend theyre not. Because as much as I love Lokhusts visually, destroyers as a thing dont hit home with me.

Meat for the Meat God: The loathsome court of a Flayer King. Deranged, flesh craving skelly zombies filled with unescapable guilt for killing God. Maximum silent hill energy, maximum skin and blood. Arguably my favourite aspect of the necrons, and my initial plan if i ever got into them.

Scarab Parliament: Mad king crowns a swarm of scarabs as his successor, his poor court are forced to explain things in terms the scarabs can understand. Gentlemen, this is democracy manifest. As many roundhead references as I can force in there, many shouts of "for the parliament, for managed democracy"

Return to Bug: Waking up from their nap a little scrambled, these guys are utterly convinced that necrontyr were actually beetles, and the rest of the necrons are either delusional, or hiding the truth. This seems fun to write as a perspective. Also gives me the excuse to throw Deskari from WOTR voice lines in for the love of the game

Can Love Bloom?: An unholy alliance between this secessionist tomb, and some Aeldari corsairs both under existential threat from a world thats moved past them. (This was written as a joke, a "haha gonna give my necron lord an eldar waifu" in response to seeing some online lore that was uh... Self indulgent. It's upsettingly grown on me as a "opposing sides of an ancient war sticking together because the only people they respect enough are eachother)

Huntmeister Supreme: Necron Big game hunters, desperately staving off boredom with one journey through the webway after another, looking for the biggest beastie (and/or planet) they can bring down for sport. Sometimes you just gotta chase a norn emissary around a dying imperial world because youre 60m years old and nothing exciting has happened since the biotransference
