Han, Cil, and Rachel go on a road trip with 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 2, Episode 3, "Hold the Line," the crossover event where the 118 crosses paths with the 126 during a wildfire tearing through Texas. Our buddie Trent from 911TVNEWS joins us to help break down the world of 9-1-1: Lone Star and how it treats our familiar visitors Buck, Eddie, and Hen once they're dropped into it.
Trent gives us the full download on why Lone Star has always operated like 9-1-1's edgier younger sibling, and we get into how the wildfire splits the two crews up: Eddie, Judd, Marjan and Paul on one team, Buck, TK and Mateo on another, and Hen and Owen stuck waiting out the fire together in an old trauma-filled mine, and what each pairing ends up revealing about the characters from both shows.
Then Han, Cil, and Rachel spend the back third of the episode doing what we do best: cataloguing every second Eddie spends talking Buck up to a woman he just met, tracking exactly where Buck's own eyes keep wandering, and adding yet another entry to the ever-growing Eddie Diaz queer coding file â because apparently no show is safe from it, not even someone else's.
