Forseti was the product of a conniving conquest laid by Odin. With his eyes set on unification of the Nine Realms, he sought to consolidate power by any means. Forseti was the first son of Odin and the Queen Aelsa Featherwine of Aelfheimr, however, Odin planned to make Freya's child an heir-- favoring Freya's political sway. Still, Forseti was still an asset to Odin's conquest.

The early years of the unification of the Nine Realms was paved in blood and Forseti's role in the war was no exception. While not the Crown Prince of Asgard, Odin saw fit to make him rule Aelfheimr under Asgard's iron fist. Taking advantage of the Aelsa's difficulty to conceive, Odin used underhanded tactics to grant her wish. After the arrangement had been made, Odin, brought her to Asgard where she stayed until the child was born, only then did he ensure she never backed out of the deal-- a child in exchange for a unified realm. To ensure she didn't betray their alliance, he poisoned her morning tea, ensuring she could never conceive another heir, then banished her and the newborn back to Aelfheimr on the first night Forseti was born.

Many Aelfheimr opposed Forseti's title of Crown Prince of Aelfheimr; the unification and forced alliance to Asgard was met with harsh rebuff. Still in spite of this, Forseti grew up in a home filled with love and all the doting a Crown Prince held. Yet his kingdom mocked him and shunned the Queen.

The Wife of Forseti:

Artemis was the 1st wife of Forseti. Their marriage was arranged by Odin one century prior to Forseti's self imposed exile. Artemis was an Olympian sent as a tribute to Nornheim, where she trained to be an armed oracle (a guardian to the sisters' fate.) Nornheim having been part of Asgard's outer realms, was the closest ally to Asgard, she was married off to Forseti to ensure Odin's iron grip on the the realms were deadlocked.

Artemis and the people of Olympia were long time allies of Asgard and Odin's court. So when Artemis was sent as a tribute, it only strengthened that allegiance. However, for Forseti and Artemis, they were anything but in love.

In fact, the two despised one another. Artemis found Forseti's xenophobia toward Aesir despicable and hypocritic due to his mixed lineage. She thought his efforts to defy Odin would only bring ruin to the elves.

Forseti found Artemis's trust in Asgard and Odin misguided. He was opposed to the unity of the realms and the implications it held.

There were many reasons why they didn't get along, but, ultimately it boiled down to the two being different people. Nonetheless, Artemis was loyal to her role as his wife and the ultimate mission to unify the Nine Realms and serve as a guardian to the sisters of fate.

Morgan Le Fey

Allegedly, islands remained of Atlantis after it sank. On the largest of those islands, Avalon, Igraine was a sea-princess. Igraine had a daughter named Morgan with a man from the sacred clan.

As the custom went, Morgan was taken to be trained at the House of Virgins to serve as Avalon's sea-princess, the great sun temple of the Crystal City of the volcanic island of Ruta. The women were given in marriage to men of the sacred clan for magical purposes, forbidding Morgan the love she sought.

A young priest, Myraddin was warned of the upcoming and long foretold catastrophe that was going to occur. The ancient priest of the sun entrusted Myraddin with his secret scrolls, and with his daughter Igraine. Myraddin and Igraine rushed to the House of Virgins where they took Morgan, and flew on a merchant ship from Tingail, while the remaining islands of Atlantis were drowned by great tidal waves caused by the burst of the volcano.

Morgan was raised by Myraddin in the Temple where she trained. At twelve she was sent to marry the new king Uther Pendragon whom already had a bride and a child, Arthur Pendragon. For Morgana, she was terrified of the "Old King." However, she had no choice nor means to defy the arrangement.

Morgan grew to loathe Uther and the Pendragon royal family. Uther was notorious drinker and regularly abused his wives-- Morgana often being the focus to Uther's cruelty due to her defiant nature. She secretly studied magic despite Uther's law against women learning magic.

As Morgan grew older, her anger and hate grew to ambition. Morgan decided the only way she'd be free is to kill Uther and the Pendragon bloodline. Using Cyanide, she slowly poisoned their drinks-- including herself in hopes to both build an immunity to the drug but also to throw suspicion off her.

Her doses were small at first, causing mild ailments to herself and the royal family. Over the course of that time, Uther's drinking became worse. His mental status started to decline with age and the growing rumor that some of his enemies from other parts of Midgard, were plotting a coup.

When Uther's first wife died abruptly, many presumed she committed suicide, however, Morgana suspected Uther having killed her in a drunken fit of rage. This now left Morgan in a vulnerable place her original scapegoat was now dead, but, worse, she was at the center of Uther's brutality now. With no one left to take his anger out on, Morgana's plans and magical studies were put on hold.

After one particularly brutal encounter with Uther, she spiraled into a deep depression-- unlike her other depression spells-- she couldn't pull herself out of that one. Under the veil of the witching hour, Morgan fled on horseback until she reached a cliff.

With the intention to jump, Morgan was visited by Myraddin, who pleaded she not take her life, saying the fates had a bigger plan for her. Instead of taking comfort in his words, Morgan flew into a fit of rage, blaming him for her decades of abuse. After a tight fisted battle, Morgan pushed Myraddin from the cliff where he plummeted into the frigid Atlantic sea below.

For several weeks Morgan tried to evade Uther's knights, including using illusions to conceal herself. One night while she slept, she was found by two travelers from distant realms, Forseti and Hogun. She kept her identity secret, fearing they were sent by Uther. Only after learning their mission to free the Nine Realms and how Uther dismissed their warning, did she reveal her name to them.

Returning home, Morgan faced Uther since she fled. She was immediately locked in her room and was denied food for several days. Eventually, Uther released her, but not before threatening to have both her feet cut off should she try to flee again.

Morgan once more resumed her magical practice in secret; believing that Midgard would be attacked by Odin's forces. Morgan was determined to kill Uther and ensure Avalon didn't fall into the hands of new dictator.

With Uther's age, came illness. Like many men of this time, even with sorcery, some illnesses couldn't be cured. With Uther's fear of magic, his circle of trusted doctors and healers were slim. His treatment was ineffective at slowing the spread of Cancer cells that developed in his pancreas. The cancer cells rapidly spread through his body until reaching his brain.

Uther's usual volatile nature worsened with each passing month. It was the first time Morgan feared for her life.

With the cancer cells pressing on his cerebral cortex, Uther's erratic behavior caused a veil of bloodshed to befall the nation of Avalon.

Uther had most of his court executed under suspicion of treason. When he wasn't having someone interrogated, he drank.

Morgan could only keep her head down and do what she could to avoid Uther's rampage. However, her efforts to evade the unstable tyrant rapidly grew harder the more he declined.

For Morgan, the depression and rage returned. However, her magical practices were paying off. She prayed to Gaea nightly to give her strength. All the while, her skill in toxins, curses and dark magic grew. Morgan believed Gaea both gave and took life without mercy. Through that end, Morgan believed Uther's illness was fate; finally the sisters' granted this chance to finally kill Uther. With a single curse, Morgan laid the final trap to end him.

Death of Uther Pendragon:

In the final weeks of Uther's life, all Morgan could hear throughout the palace was Uther's delirious tangents. His paranoia drove him to believe having another heir (and forcing Arthur to marry and conceive as well) could protect the throne. He took more brides; most, Morgan believed, were too young to be a bride much less a Queen.

Between the deplorable actions of Arthur and Uther, Morgan hated men. All she saw in them were savage beasts needing to be tamed.

Once more, Morgan became Uther's hyper fixation. The thought of bearing a child with a man-- much less Uther-- disgusted and terrified her.

Instead of chancing a child, Morgan took drastic permanent measures. Drinking an infertility potion, Morgan believed such a potion wouldn't be enough to stop a pregnancy. Taking a small dagger she carried, Morgan made a deep long incision along her pelvic region, in a desperate attempt to sterilize herself.

Her efforts didn't go as planned. Instead of giving her a means of escaping Uther's advances, she only made herself sick with an infection. This didn't deter Uther's efforts. After he learned what she tried to do, he raped and beat her within an inch of her life and sentenced her to be hanged the following morning.

When the execution came, Gaea appeared before the witnesses and warned them of the threat that was on the horizon. There she freed Morgan and protected her long enough for Morgan to get to Uther.

Morgan caught up to Uther, the two fought but Uther was slain by Morgan's blade. Arthur soon caught up to the scene and battled Morgan as well. The two were matched in skill, but, Morgan's magical advantage was ultimately Arthur's downfall. With the Pendragon royal family dead, Morgan was free to ascend the throne. There she lifted the law banning women from practicing magic. She was able to openly study with masters of the craft. Morgan Le-Fey ushered in a shaky era. Many supported Uther, leaving the nation divided in beliefs and traditions.

The King of Avalon

For his people and many, the first 900 years had been the bloodiest, Odin demanded tributes in exchange for the realm's independence. Over half the elven women were sent to Asgard as slaves to Odin's advisors. Forseti having been made the image of the bloody unification was blamed for the suffering of the people. Forseti sought their realm's independence but to defy the iron grip Asgard had on them could mean their extinction.

He cast himself into exile and went in search for the means to free their people from Asgard.

His search took him to Vanaheim first; their longest and closest ally, where he met a General of the Royal guard, Hogun the fierce. Known for his many victories against Asgard's forces-- and self acclaimed defeat of 10 Valkyries-- Hogun offered his army in the mission, however, the crowned regent refused the request and instead sent Hogun with Forseti as a spy against Asgard.

Their journey through the realms brought them to the kingdom of Avalon and its lands standing as the last kingdom untouched by Asgard's military. The land of Avalon was lush with resources thriving with arcane magics. It mirrored the lands of old Alfheim before Odin's armies pillaged and wiped out much of the natural earth. With time running differently there, Hogun and Forseti spent over five decades studying the customs and ancient magics there.

When Morgan called Forseti and Hogun to her council, Forseti accepted her offer to help free the Nine Realms from Odin's tyranny. In exchange for her allegiance, she asked Forseti to teach her all he knew about the magics of the elves and to share that knowledge with her most trusted-- all female-- mages.

As years went on, Forseti fell in love with Morgan, and to some extent Forseti felt through his empathic gift, that she cared for him too. When he proposed, she accepted his offer only if he reclaimed his place as Alfheimr's King; wanting to use their union as a way to unite the people of both realms, giving them hope that Odin would be defeated.

Forseti agreed to her offer his fear of Odin's wrath. Forseti was soon crowned King though Morgan's reign by now was solidified.

Their relationship was shaky due to Morgan's trauma. She never allowed him to touch her bare skin. If contact was ever made, it was chased, Morgan's walls never fractured when in the presence of a man. Even Forseti who swore an oath of pacifism and was a being linked to Yggdrasil and Gaea's magics was still looked upon as a man, a man capable of committing the cruelty she suffered.

Still, he loved her... He saw her pain and through that the beauty of her strength to rise and channel that pain into something great.

There peaceful kingdom of Avalon soon was invaded by Odin's men, lead by Thor and Sif.

The battle lasted days leaving both sides matched. Hogun-- for all his military prowess-- couldn't match Thor's brutish strength, ultimately Hogun was severely injured.

The tipping point of the week long battle came when the Frost Giants, lead by Loki, came to their aid. Having heard of Odin's plan to invade Midgard, Loki and his men planned a tactical assault on Thor's men.

On the eighth day of battle, Asgards' forces retreated. Loki warned Forseti and Morgan that Jotunheim and Midgard were the last free realms. The two diplomats united a front to defend the realms. With Loki's teachings Morgan was able to expand her knowledge and magical resources into combat magic, giving her a new advantage against their enemy.

Forseti however, was taught how to better channel his natural ties to Yggdrasil into that of sight-- sensing through plant life where their enemies were. While his senses were limited to miles, it was still an advantage he hadn't learned prior. Over time and through Loki's teachings, Morgan and Forseti both became stronger.

Forseti soon saw Morgan's talent for sorcery was greater than what Midgard could provide. He suggested Morgan travel to Jotunheim with Loki and study with him. Morgan became distrustful, accusing him of trying to steal the throne from her. Their fight couldn't be resolved due to Morgan's deep distrust and hatred of men. Forseti remained in Avalon after Morgan's closest council reasoned with her and convinced her to travel-- to find any means necessary to defeat Asgard.

Forseti spent the next decade as the King of Avalon, while Morgan traveled the Nine Realms with Loki. Odin's forces were relentless in their brutal assaults and underhanded tactics, but, so was Jotunheim. With no sign of a victor, the remaining realms stood independent for another century. That century, brought Hogun and Forseti closer together than their relationship had ever been. The two supported one another-- even providing the comfort Forseti never got from Morgan. Despite his love for her, he also deeply cared for Hogun too.

Fall of the Nine

A plague washed through the Avalon, threatening the inhabitants and natural life as Forseti knew it. While immune to most diseases, Forseti's empathic ties to nature and life forms tormented him. Sleepless and in pain, he grew desperate for a way to save his people. With Morgan gone, he had to rely on his own magics to help the kingdom. He performed rituals and and cleansing to save his people, but to no avail.

He and Hogun returned to Alfheimr under the guise of street merchants and snuck into his old temple where he met with the High Elder who was a devout druid. There she told him of an ancient artifact known as the infinity stones-- notably the soul stone. She believed, that whatever disease that was plaguing the lands of Avalon, was the work of foul magic. However, she warned the two men, that to seek the soul stone would bring them suffering.

Forseti suspected this to be the doing of the Odin. Hogun however wasn't so sure. His investigation reminded him of his past battles; a type of magic that only the dark sorceress Hela could conjure. Forseti resolved himself to take the risk and seek the soul stone out.

They traveled to the edges of space-time, the heart of the universe. There at the coast of the Silver Devestations on the planet Nemesis, did they find the Great Breach; the great darkness that bridged life and death.

They set up camp there, he and Hogun sharing an apprehensive night together as they debated the question-- who had to die in order to retrieve the stone. Hogun offered his life without hesitation, Forseti however couldn't.

Morgana and Loki arrived early the next morning, to find Hogun and Forseti; they warned them that a fleet lead by Sif was coming for the Soul stone. The four of them knew should Asgard gain even just one infinity stone, Asgard would surely win the war.

With only a few short days to prepare for the army, the four of them couldn't shake the looming dread that none of them would survive this suicide mission.

The army landed on the shores days later and with the pandemonium ensued. They were outmatched and outnumbered. With their efforts to hold back the army failing, Morgan and Forseti knew the only chance any of them had, was to obtain the soul stone at all cost.

Nobody expected the self proclaimed Allfather to lead the charge. Morgan realized her informant lied, these weren't Sif's fleet but Odin's royal army and that they stood no chance. Hogun and Loki didn't retreat. Instead Loki had a plan. He cast several illusions to distract Odin and Baldr from their assault. While he and Baldr fought, this gave Hogun the chance to slay the strong Aesir.

Odin's focus was transfixed on the stone. He and Morgan fought a tight fist match. Her sorcery had transformed during her time spent with Loki. Odin's experience on the warfront, outmatched her skill. she was pierced clean through with her blade. Forseti tried to kill Odin, but in a final attempt to turn the tide of the war, Morgan pulled Forseti onto the impaled blade that stuck from her abdomen and prayed one last time to Gaea to give her the strength to win the battle. Gaea did not answer, instead Morgan and Forseti had to wait and see which of them would obtain the stone-- and hoped that the holder would survive long enough to wield it.

Forseti's life was waning faster than Morgan's, she saw this clearly and for the first and last time, she revealed her heart to him. Telling him in his moments, that she loved him. Sharing a deep kiss, Forseti died and Morgan became the first wielder of the Soulstone. Forseti's soul now trapped within it was able to ascend and connect himself to it's power-- creating a New Avalon in his and Morgan's image.

Severely injured, Morgan took a final stand wielding the stone against Odin, however, with her injuries too great she failed and Avalon and Jotunheim fell to Odin's might. Through the soul stone and her own magic she was resurrected, but by that time the war had been lost and Odin the victor. Morgan went into seclusion and never saw Forseti since.
