When the only mention of struggle shown is a moment of "Oh my, we shouldn't! What would people think?" During intercourse and there's never actual fear or struggle shown.

When the story has no ups, downs, plot, climax, anything. It's all just "Look! They're hot and they're horny!" Like a zoo animal being caught acting funny.

When the only affection shown is sexual. No romance, no awkward moments, no drastic actions taken for love, no cuddling and kissing, nothing. Hell, the characters themselves will only ever have backstory if it's for the tragic explanation of what "turned them" gay/lesbian/trans.

When there's no depth. No love. No gain as a result of their cured pain. Yet, we're all supposed to be thankful nonetheless. Like we aren't being used as a fetish, as a kink, as a point and stare game.
