Steven Bomb is over…Lapis is still lost in the ocean with Jasper and Peridot floated away with her green bean fingers…I just…feel so drained from my emotions being tossed around like a salad.

OH MY GAWSH!!!! Since I’m an animator, I pay attention to frames and details and oh did this catch my eye. Lapis’ reformation back into her physical self made her look like a wooden puppet. I think this is because how much she’s been through and how much people have been “controlling her like a puppet”. Trapping her in a mirror, trapping her in a prison, she even trapped herself in her own fusion with Jasper, saying that she’ll trap herself forever for Steven. And I don’t even know how much stress she’s been through before she was trapped in the mirror!?!? I think her reformation was foreshadowing the fact that she will be trapped for a majority of her life. And even when she tried to cut the strings in “Ocean Gem” and “Jailbreak” the strings just wrapped themselves around her again, holding onto her forever…
