I made this for emmyc.tumblr.com, but there’s no reason the rest of the internet can’t bask in the glory.  I hope we can be super cool internet bros.  

Chainsaw is safe and sound, home from the vet today, glassy-eyed from morphine and recovering from his surgery, but no longer sounding like…well, a Chainsaw when he breathes.

He clinked his plastic cup against Stone’s and took a sip. It was good, but strawberry wasn’t really his favorite of flavors. Especially when mixed with dairy. But that’s what Stone wanted to learn and so Bubbles was willing to give it another try. That and he had never made a strawberry shake himself. It tasted a lot better than when he’d get it at a fast food restaurant.

“This is really good! It’s really cold, but smooth too. What kind of things do you like to make?” He asked curiously. Bubbles seemed to like real food. 

Oh. Bubbles loved food. So much that he was lucky that he wasn’t organic. “I like to make a lot of different things.  Mostly easy stuff because there are so many of us. If more than a few want something, it gets to be a hassle.”

“That was ridiculous. We survived. We survived.  I’m cooking up this bacon right now!” he took out his pan and turned the stove on. “What should we try first?”

“Hey, I was going to make something for my brothers, should we make something for yours?”

“Me…? Are you sure? I didn’t do much to help, mostly I just watched, and cut up the strawberries. Still, it did look like it would taste good. “… why don’t we both try it at the same time?” he offered.
