New song up on my YouTube channel.
Bryan Saladin is back on the scene with a brand new single: Inside.
An atmospheric song with a modern R&B twist.
August 2020 - Bryan Saladin is an artist and songwriter based in The Bronx, New York. His sound is a stark combination of modern R&B, trap, and alternative hip-hop, creating the perfect balance between these styles and setting the bar higher in terms of creativity. Recently, Bryan released a new project titled Inside. The single has a very edgy, powerful sound, which sets the bar higher in terms of production and performance. This song is indeed a perfect example of how great music today can seamlessly blur the lines between different ideas.
The song begins with a really nice trap-inspired beat, which has a deep low end and so much clarity in the high frequencies of the mix as well, perfectly cutting through those ambient synth chords. Bryan’s vocals are particularly memorable, making me think of performers as diverse as The Weeknd or Miguel, only to mention but a few. The track has a really minimalistic arrangement at its core, with the vocals really driving the energy of the track with some great hooks and even with some perfectly balanced harmonies and ad-libs to spice things up. The track maintains a nice and steady flow through, with a tempo that is absolutely perfect to chill out to. This track has a modern production, and a lot of warmth that really makes it stand out for its punchy and organic feel, like some of the best releases in this particular genre of music. Ultimately, I think that this song is a fantastic take on the genre, not only providing a deeper insight into the artist’s personality, but also setting the bar higher in terms of innovation when it comes to create something that has character, as opposed to simply trying to mimic other successful artists.
Genre borders don’t mean as much as they used to and artists like Bryan are fully taking advantage of this newfound creative freedom to bring their music someplace else.
Fans of artists as diverse as XXXTENTACION, Juice WRLD, and Saint Jhn are going to connect with this release, as well as with the aesthetics of the artist and the music.
Find out more about Bryan Saladin and listen to this release, which is now available on the web.
