Little Bird

this   was   going   to   be   easy,   spend   a   few   months   here   manipulating   a   total   stranger   into   falling   in   love   with   her   and   she’d   be   whisked   away   to   a   new   life.   nothing   to   worry   about   after   that,   she’d   have   all   the   money   in   the   world   and   no   one   would   expect   a   suburban   wife   of   anything   nefarious.   so   there   she   sat,   in   the   hub,   waiting   on   someone   to   take   the   bait.   i   mean   –   what   damage   could   5’4   asset   do?   nobody   had   any   reason   to   doubt   her   so   far   and   she   was   willing   to   do   anything   it   takes   to   keep   it   that   way.   “can   i   get   a   water?”   she   directed   towards   the   bartender   before   glancing   around,   hoping   a   new   face   would   appear.

The type of people at this location was something that Nora was used to. What she wasn't used to was the heat. Being a northern girl the cool fridgid air was something that made her comfortable. Finding a random piece of paper she used it to fan herself. Sweat dripped from her temple and she felt a drop slide down the smoothness of her back. How she wished that it was cold or hell there was something cold. Walking around she managed to find the refreshment bar just as a woman sidled up to it as well. Lifting her hand she caught the man's attention. "Same here please".

“I was expecting to be alone in here,” although the ocean was lovely sometimes she preferred the stillness of the pool in the hub.  She’d found out that at the right hour she could go and be seemingly alone, and after a string of a few good quiet evenings tonight seemed different - there was another visitor, not that she was complaining.  “Don’t tell me you’re leaving already, you just got here-” a sly smirk adorned the young mistresses lips, “join me.”

Nora began to step away from the pool but stopped at the young woman's words. Hands that were clutched to her chest fell to her side. Turning she faced the woman, a smile now bloomed on her lips. "I see that it would be quite rude of me ma'am". Stepping towards the pool she took a seat at the edge and dipped her feet into the water. It was the perfect temperature. Not too cold but not too warm. A content sigh left her lips. "Quite nice isn't it"?

Lane couldn’t imagine how it was for assets, it seemed like they barely had any personal time at all. They were essentially working a 24/7 job of pleasing people, at any time they could be scooped up by a master or mistress. For Lane he could do anything he wanted, when he needed quiet he could just sit alone in his cabin. “Oh no it’s quite alright. You aren’t disturbing me sweetheart—-why don’t you come sit—-it’s quite quiet up here. I’ve found this room to be quite a good escape from all the noises of the other areas of the hub”. 

Nora swallowed the lump in her throat, holding her head up a little high. While it had only been a mere day since being on this Island she had seen the way that the assets like her were treated. Like they were nothing but toys to be played with and abused. Nothing that wasn't new to her. "Alright". Hands flat to her side she walked towards the man, from the posture and way that he spoke she knew that he was a master. She took her seat next to him, on the floor by his feet and lifted her blue gaze. "Have you found anything good"?

“You think taking away my privileges is going to settle me down, Chief?”  He asked, having just tried to get outside to take a walk when he was stopped (rather harshly he thought) at the door.  He liked to forget that as an asset the only chance of getting outside would be an invitation from either a master/mistress, “just you watch…i’ll be walking out that door within the hour.”  The guard only laughed and dismissed him, Eli taking that as his opportunity to head into the center of the Hub.  Instead of heading towards the middle of the room though he stood to the side, leaning back against a wall and slowly lowering himself.  “Fucking island,” he muttered to himself.

Nora absent mindedly rubbed her thumb over her knee, blue gaze staring off into space. It had been a mere few hours since she had been on the island. Already it was close to what she expected. Hungry hands grasping at flesh, eyes full of lust and want. A type of scene that she had experienced day and day before. Well at least she would enjoy things this time. Blue gaze lifted from the void at the loud outburst, watching as the guards pushed back an angry man till he was huffing and leaning against the wall. A small smirk graced her lips. "I guess it could be worse, we could be stuck somewhere cold".

All she wanted was TWO MINUTES of privacy but in the Hub it never seemed possible, no matter what door you opened someone was behind it, but it still didn’t stop Sloan from trying.  This whole experience, having only been here for a few days, was overwhelming (to say the very least) and she needed a moment to catch her breath.  The next room attempt was her worst, opening to door to see damn near an orgy going on infront of her, causing her to quickly turn and stumble down the hall.  It’s not like she was a prude, quite the opposite actually considering she had a rather strong appetite, but still this whole island took a LOT of getting used to.  “I should really stop opening doors,” she mused as she slowed her pace coming closer to the center of the hub.

Nora held her hands together in front of her, letting the events of a few minutes before sink in. Since arriving to the center of the hub she had been touched, grasped, and looked over like she was a piece of food. Comments made towards her in suggestive ways. Taking a deep breath she made her way around the room and grasped at a water which she greedily took a drink from. Putting the glass down she wiped away at a drop of water that fell down her chin, looking in the direction of the other woman. "Oh I'm sure, luckily I haven't decided to explore those rooms yet".

When he heard the third floor of the hub had a library, he decided he had to check it out and see just what kind of library it was. Whether it was just a stack of books, or whether it truly had a decent collection. He wasn’t as well read these past few years due to how busy he was, but now at eros he could start reading again. He glanced up from the book he was reading when he saw someone appear from the stacks “Hello there, just me up here. if you’re looking for someone i’m afraid they aren’t here”.

Nora knew that she shouldn't have done it but she had to escape. To get away from the main room. The clothes were tight and very revealing, nothing new to her but with the warm weather it wasn't very comftorable. So she had found her escape, the library. Fingers graced the books upon the shelves which brought a smile to her face. Lost in the glow of the library she didn't see the person till she rounded the stack. A hand fluttered to her heart as she worked to still it. "Oh umm no. Was just taking in the beauty of the place. Sorry to disturb you sir".

Did I just see CLAIRE HOLT walking on the beach? Nevermind, it was just 27-year-old, HETEROSEXUAL, NORA HARFORD. I heard the ASSET is quite CARING but also QUIET.
