Silver's psychokinesis has so many different powers, and they each require very different levels of energy expenditure.
His signature telekinesis is as easy for Silver as breathing.
It comes naturally to him, no difficulty at all.
He floated above wide swaths of lava in Crisis City that couldn't be traversed on foot. He floats himself so casually that he even floats himself just out of happiness or boredom. He's never shown to get tired or winded no matter how long he floats himself, and he seems to find it more natural and comfortable than standing on his legs.
He floats other items to himself out of mundane utility, or floats huge masses as a weapon. An upper level of weight hasn't even been established, because Silver can so easily tear apart an entire mountain range or lift up an entire city, and it still wouldn't make him even begin to break a sweat.
In comparison, the shields Silver creates require much more effort on his part.
You can see a visible strain from Silver while he's holding up a shield.
They can take absolutely immense force, like strikes from giant Chaos-emerald-powers Zavok, a point-blank explosive from the equivalent of several tons of TNT, or a meteor actively falling to Earth. As long as Silver keeps the shield up, it won't even budge from forces like that. And he will have the willpower to keep it up as long as he sees necessary, regardless of his remaining stamina, because it's been established that his powers a "strongest" when he is protecting something.
But holding up a shield against those levels of forces is straining enough that as soon as the adrenaline of the situation drops, Silver may faint then and there.
But the power that is most exhausting for Silver to use is his "ESP"/Mind Control.
He has very limited mastery of it and doesn't rely on it often.
Even using it as often as he did in Rivals was enough to exhaust him to the point of being unable to move. He was so tired that his body and quills went limp.
He has other powers too, like the psycho knife and psycho shock, but it's hard to say what the energy expenditure of those is. They seem to take a little bit to charge up, but he doesn't seem very tired afterwards.

Not being lore accurate at all (I feel as if I should preface) butttt in this little au, Stelle and Caelus (will shorten them to 'the twins') are the biological children of Akivili, before THEY acesnded. (though... i havent come up with how or why the twins also became immortal, but whatever man.) Following Aki, and before the express was created, they all trailblazed the universe with no direct goal in mind.
(Little side comment...When the Astral Express was made, the twins made some silly drawing of a rabbit they named 'Pom-Pom,' because "we can't be on the train all the time, someone has to watch over it!" Akivili adored this idea and created Pom-Pom! )
blah blah fun happy family stuff...but then something drastic happens to the twins, resulting in their deaths. Specifically, what? I haven't come up with a reasonable idea, but the major point is that it was due to the selfishness of humanity. Their deaths brought Akivili to doubt the path of trailblazing. THEIR anger eventually grew beyond comprehension, to the point a stellaron formed in THEIR body. Knowing of the outcome if an Aeon were to succumb to such a disaster, THEY wished to use THEIR own life to revive the twins.
Depending on the chosen main character (for simplicity, I picked Caelus), they received 'the heart of trailblazing.' Or, Akivilis' heart. Maintaining the will and love for exploration, but having no recollection of the past.
Stelle received 'the mind of the trailblaze." Understanding the importance and why they trailblaze, but having no innate desire to search for it.
'The spirit of the trailblaze' was the last piece of Akivili, and where the stellaron was formed.
To match up with the 4.0 story reveal, when Caelus awoke from his death, he had no understanding of where he was but just knew he had to search for something. Joining the stellaron hunters, his main goal was to find and understand that unknown feeling, at any cost. (Because of the twins' connection with heart and mind, Caelus had such a painful feeling that something was missing. He could not remember such an important part of his life; it was driving him mad.)
Well, his curiosity killed him again lol. This is where the beginning of hsr begins, where the husk of Akivilis' children are just puppets. (How? idk) The stellaron implemented in either of the twins is 'the spirit of the trailblaze'. Thus, while the story progresses, the mc has both the heart and the spirit, but not the mind. (Which is why in Amphoreous, when seeing the other mc, they ask the mc "why do you trailblaze?" They are trying to get their sibling to remember, but without intervening with their destiny and purpose.)
Some side ideas that I like but kinda can't connect:
Akivili asked Nanook to kill THEM, as THEY cannot kill themselves. Nanook hesitates, but agrees. (I think Nanook ascended after Akivilis 'death,' but I like to use the official video of Aha stating Nanook slayed Akivili. While most likely just the writing of fan fiction, I want to believe it has some truth to it.)
To add, I feel as if Nanook has deep regrets, and THEIR anger turns more violent because humanity killed their own Aeon. This is why THEY are the first Aeon to glance at the mc, to make sure they do not follow Akivilis' death.
It is conflicting because i wish to make the au connect to the main story, so there has to be a way that literally the entire universe forgot about the twins exsistance. Maybe the Finality had a part in it.
Akivili only truly ascended because THEY finally understood the importance of life because of the twins. They are so loved by Akivili that the other Aeons can't even think about hurting them.
It's so messy lol, but becuase hsr is so much about love (platonic, family, and/or romatic,), I wish to have the mc's love stem from their own upbringing. They adore the Astral Express family so much because they remember that love from their past. Its something to preserve and savor.

Basis for how they interact comes from how Tachyon tends to spare Daiwa scarlet from the bulk of her mad scientist stuff (alongside showing genuinely care towards her, but that's a given), so Scarbou being Daisca's irl mom she gets the same treatment just upped by a couple levels because that's wifey and her body is a temple as well hers + through Tachyon's own self isolating tendencies she doesn't want Bouquet out of all umas to want to avoid her (out of being scared of her weird shit, thinking of her as a weirdo, etc)
This however has kinda the opposite effect because Scarbou KNOWS exactly the kind of person Tachyon is and THAT'S what makes her so drawn to her in the first place, that's the girl who looks for potential in umamusume and she's just?? Not giving her weird substance in glowy test tubes?? So Bouquet gets the impression Tachyon doesn't care/doesn't see any potential in her so her big obsession w this weirdo is wanting her to notice her in that sense, when in reality Tachy does think she has outstanding capabilities and all that jazz.
