how it feels to message a friend who's having Problems that you can't do anything to help with.
#my friend who is on call 24 hours 6 days a week with a phone that has a direct line to the public#he gets 20-30 phone calls a day#any time of day or night#and for many of the calls he needs to go in to the clinic#at ANY time#cannot go out of cell service or have a beer at dinner or anything 6 days a week#and has this schedule for six months straight#we want to run a half marathon together on a weekend day in October and he’d need to use a sick day for it#we can’t even go for runs around town without him getting called
