6-7 miles is the perfect weekly long run distance and always will be. 10-14 miles is fun every now and then but takes up too much time to do on the reg. maybeeee i’ll run a marathon someday but the amount of time you need to train is just SO much… i can’t be running for 1-2 hours weekdays and 3-4 hours on weekends! i have laundry to do!

hey all, i know times are tight for everyone but this is near and dear to me and my friends- hundreds of homes have been burned in the spokane complex fire over the last 24 hours and thousands of people have been evacuated. we knew this was going to be a bad fire season, but it’s still heartbreaking to watch. the first two links are official and vetted by the city of spokane and the american red cross has a dedicated washington wildfire relief fund. keep the northwest in your thoughts and please consider sharing if you can.
