Damn I love this one 😍
This is very pretty! Love the colors!
“Copper Explosion”
This piece was designed using the dutch pour technique. The blue background is meant to accent the copper and gold colors.Onyx is used as contrast.
I loved making this painting! It was produced on an 8in x 10in x 1/2in canvas, the first one I’ve done using negative space that is not white or black--black space may also be called positive space.
After adding the colors and attempting to cover them with the blue, I initially pushed all of the colors off the canvas with the hairdryer, which wasn’t my intention at all.
Once I had a better idea of what I wanted to see, I put fresh dollops of color onto the canvas and reattempted to commence with the dutch pour. The second time was a success.
This was my second dutch pour, but the first I had ever filmed. I haven’t attached the video, but may do that on a later date.

“Lara’s Song”
This piece is an 18in x 24in x 1/2in fluid acrylic painting which used 4 tree ring pours to complete on a white background. The colors that accent the piece are blue (which was mixed from a darker blue and white), rojo gold, and Xanadu gold.
I named this piece after my cocker spaniel because this is one of the first pieces that she really seemed to enjoy, and she kept sniffing it!
I will post weekly, if not more! Pouring paint and designing with an unknown is so relaxing and I love o share my work with my audience!
