Personally, I haven't been able to stop for the past two weeks—I’ve had so many ideas and things are taking shape like never before... but anyway! I’m getting carried away, let’s not get sidetracked! 😆

​At the very end of your last video, if my memory serves me right, you briefly mentioned that you were considering doing livestreams on your YouTube channel. 😶

​To be honest, I have quite a few questions about that because I find the idea really interesting.

First off, is that still something you’re interested in doing? If you do go for it, what kind of content would you want to stream? And what do you think that could bring you and create?

​And above all—and I think this is the question that intrigues me the most—do you have any apprehension about the idea of streaming, even just a little bit?

After all, being live and hosting a stream can be a bit intimidating at first, even without having thousands of viewers. Especially when you’re a relatively sensitive person, and I have good reason to think that’s the case for you. 😄

​Honestly, I’m asking this because you’re already working on projects that you share with the world, and you take the time to make videos that expose your creations to everyone. That alone takes a lot of courage. Even I am still quite shy when it comes to my own work, so I have immense respect for people who manage to put themselves out there and share the fruit of their hard work. 👏😌

​So, how do you see things from that perspective? Does posting a video and being live really provoke the same kind of apprehension for you?

I’ve actually been sick for the past two weeks or so, so its slowed me down a bit, but I’m still creating as much as I can manage to 😊 I’m so happy to hear you’ve been on a creative streak! That’s FANTASTIC!!!👏🙌😁

You remembered correctly! I do in fact plan on doing a live stream! I’ve been doing a lot of research about how to do it and what set up would work for me best :)

I was mostly planning on drawing something and chilling, there’s still a lot I don’t know about streaming so I want to keep it pretty simple starting out 🙂

As far as streaming goes, I’m not against doing it I just don’t know the first thing about it 😅 (plus I don’t have a computer or PC so I don’t know if I could even make it work with my current set up). I could see myself enjoying streaming at some point down the line though 🤔 (it probably would be daunting to start, but I love reacting to things and sharing opinions so I could see myself enjoying it 😊)

Was curious what you're planning to do for Killer Moth in Batman: Gotham Hero! Considering his history with Batgirl and obsessive study of Batman in the comics, he could have some real funny dynamics with a lot of the core cast...

Kind of why I love him! Infinite potential, almost as much as Batman himself! Makes sense for someone trying to rip him off, right?

YESSS!!! He has SO MUCH POTENTIAL!!!👏✨

Remember how in my first video I mentioned that the Riddler went to college for a time? Well, his roommates at that time were the guys who would eventually become Killer Moth and Fire Fly 😂

They are totally hurt that the Riddler acts like he’s better than them, he’s in with the A tier rouges and they’re with the C crowd. He acts like he doesn’t even know them! So, figuring out how much he’s obsessed with Batgirl, they make it a big part of their villainous goals to become Batgirl’s biggest enemies just to tick him off 🤣

Fire Fly is the quiet type whose good enough friends with Killer Moth that he just goes along with whatever wacky scheme he comes up with (as long as he can set stuff on fire, he’s good lol). Killer Moth is a much more emotional character who’s trying to cement himself as a true treat to Gotham… but keeps falling to get anyone to take him seriously 🥲

It’s one of my all time FAVORITE movies!!! I watched it eight times in like two days one time 😂 I almost had the whole thing memorized verbatim, not anymore though 😅

Out of curiosity, which pieces of Batman related media inspire you the most when it comes to Batman: Gotham Hero (aside from BTAS)?

You also mention a lot of golden/silver age material in your videos. Is the era of Batman that you are inspired by the most? Or do you take a little inspiration from some later eras of Batman (Frank Miller, the Arkham games, etc.)?

I’d say a Lego Batman (both from the games, and the movie) is probably a bigger influence than I give it credit for, the Lego Batman games were (as far as I can remember) my first true introduction to him and all his rouges—not to mention the Lego Batman movie is still one of my all time favorites 😂👌✨

I do really love and appreciate the golden/silver age Batman stories! I think it’s really cool to see how Batman’s original creators chose to portray his character and then compare it to newer age stories!

It’s hard to say that I take more inspiration from one era of Batman over another though 🤔. I love diving into all sorts of different Batman stories, and then I try to decide what I like, dislike, and where a new spin could fit! It’s like it’s all one big puzzle that you’re creating from the pieces of other amazing puzzles! (Not to say all Batman stories are created equal, BTAS is still what I’d consider the crowning jewel of the franchise, but all Batman stories usually have something of merit to them and I think that’s really cool!)

I loved BTAS Mad Hatter! I don’t really like what DC has done with him since… (CREEPY 😬)

​For the past few days, I’ve found myself trapped in one of the most awkward, dreaded situations for any creative person: writer's block! 😱 *Cue terrifying, dramatic thunder sound effect*

​Then a thought struck me, and I told myself, “If only I could ask for advice from someone incredibly talented who would truly understand the feeling...” 🤔 And well, since you’re reading this message, you know exactly who I’m talking about ! 😄

​So tell me, have you ever faced writer’s block, blank canvas... or maybe even both, since you both draw and write scripts ?

How do you usually deal with it? How do you break through the wall and rediscover that spark of inspiration? (Ideally without walking in circles for hours—I’m specifying this because I’ve already tried it ><)

​I’d love to know, not only because it would be fascinating to learn more about your creative process, but also because it might give me a few ideas to try out myself, you never know ! 🤷‍♂️

I definitely feel ya though, I struggle with artists/writers block all the time 😅

For me, I find that it can be caused by quite a number of things so the “cures” can vary quite a bit 🤔

Sometimes I can’t focus because I need to tidy up the space I’m working in but keep putting it off, but as boring as it can be to clean instead of create, I’ve always done better work with a cleaner space

Sometimes I hit a block because I unintentionally put too much pressure into what my outcome *should* look like, I struggle with perfectionism a lot as well as self doubt and both of those together are enough to kill my creativity🫠 To combat those things I’ve actually found it helpful to tell myself that whatever I’m about to do is gonna suck but I can learn from my mistakes and retry later. As backwards as it sounds to diss yourself before you start, it actually takes all the pressure away from my mind and I’m able to actually produce good quality work 😂 It also helps sometimes to write/draw something stupid just to get out nervous energy before you start!

Sometimes I avoid working on a project because I feel I don’t know enough about it, and/or I don’t know what to do. In those cases brushing up on art/writing fundamentals, watching tutorial videos, and devoting some time to learning/understanding whatever I’m struggling with usually gives me the confidence I need to continue on a project!

Sometimes I just need a boost of inspiration, talking to friends, watching a favorite movie, reading, or playing a game can usually get me fired up enough to tackle block! And if those fail, you gotta put yourself in a really boring position, like staring at a wall in silence—it’s a hard core method but it works 😅

And if all else fails sometimes block is just your body telling you it needs a break/re-charge, sometimes that means more sleep, actually eating (I sometimes skip meals if I’m too invested in a project, so this one’s a big one for me 😅), going on a walk outside if you can—or any physical activity, and for those who are religious like myself—reading the Bible and praying!💖

I can understand why people find those stories interesting, it is a cool concept, but I’ve never personally been super interested in them though 🤔

Realistically, no 🥲

The biggest villain the Batgirls have to face is the occasional DC writer that hates them more than anything else in this world (The Killing Joke, killing Steph, casting Bette into enteral mischaracterization and obscurity, Cass getting sidelined and seemingly only being an after thought…)—I’m not built for that 😅

(Seriously DC, give these poor girls A BREAK 😭)
