Matt: now no one will connect blind lawyer to Hells Kitchen’s vigilante

Foggy: for a lawyer you say some stupid sh-

Karen: look alive Avagados, we’ve got a client

Foggy: this isn’t over

Annabeth: oh shucks. That’s right. You don’t know!

Magnus: know what

Annabeth: my mom is actually my maternal grandma, my best friend is my mom, and our camp director is my older brother I think?

Magnus: ….

Annabeth: oh, and Fredrick isn’t my dad

Magnus: the only good thing to come out of this really

Annabeth: I mean Sally’s my grandma so she spoils me with blue sweets so I mean that’s a positive too?

Magnus: fair. Think she’d adopt me?

I personally despise author’s notes. I think they’re a horrible tease for those waiting for an update and prays on people’s excitement.

That being said, I feel as though if I didn’t create this author’s note I’d have some confused readers. You will notice this work is now part of a series and that this work is also marked as complete. That isn’t to say the Perseide story is finished. It is, however, to say that I find myself incapable of creating a timeline I feel inspired to follow and instead of jumping around and becoming dissatisfied or overwhelmed with writing I intend for this au, the twins verse au, and several other works I wish to write to be a part of a series instead of a multiple chapter fic.

This is for several reasons, one of which I’ve already stated. I am terrible at timelines. This would allow me to work as I wish and order the series accordingly as the story progresses. Another reason, as many who’ve read this work and others of mine have likely come to notice, multi chapter fics are difficult for me to write. I get overwhelmed and overthink whether each chapter is succinct enough, or connects enough, or is as long as the last which causes an enormous amount of writers block.

This decision to write this story, and subsequent future stories, as part of a series instead of a multiple chapter fic may displease many. If you no longer feel the need to follow along I understand. However, this is what I need to do to keep writing and keep creating so it is what I will do regardless of others feelings. For that I cannot apologize.
