“D-U-M-B. Duh.”

“I am not dumb.”

“It’s called science. I could go on about DNA and all that, but then again, I never went to school so… I can’t really do that.”

“No wonder you’re so dumb.”

“No.” He grabbed her, wrapping his arms tightly around her waist. “Now it is.”

“Now it’s perfect.” She smiled, putting her hands on his shoulders. “Why are you so tall?”

“I mean- yeah. I know.” Jack sighed. His smile instantly faded and he glared back at her. “I just want to wake up beside you, darling.”

“God has nothing to do with this. He doesn’t like the Devil anymore.” Jack laughed louder. “Oh, you poor baby.” He grabbed her back, pulling her close. “Luci. I’m sorry. I think.”

“Yeah, really.” Jack smiled, as if he hadn’t even said anything wrong. “Lucifer, Lucifer.”

“Lucifer.” Jack huffed, leaning down towards her. He pressed his lips firmly against her’s, moving his hand to the back of his head and tangling his fingers in her hair.

“Ha-ha-ha. Very funny. I’ll find something with Luci in it and then we’ll see who’s laughing.”

“Just trying to come up with better names for you rather than bitch, or something. Because I’m not a rude person like you.”

“Okay. Whatever. Like, over a year ago when we met. Hush.” Jack wrapped his arms around her, pressing a kiss to the top of her head. “Uh… Babe. Sweetheart?”

“Since like, a year ago when we met each other.” Jack chuckled. “I was kidding. Don’t get your panties all up in a knot. Come here, babe.”

“It was over a year ago.” Luci smile, wrapping her arms around his waist. “Jackass.”

“No you can’t,” he murmured. “Not whatever.”

“Since when you are the boss of my, Mister Mister?”

“Oh, Luce.” Jack shook his head, taking a long stride forward so his was standing right in front of her, staring down into her eyes. “Don’t do that.”

“I can do whatever I want.” Luci said, staring up at him.

Jack raised his right arm back up, this time placing his hand on her cheek. “And now I am.”

Luci pulled her head away. “And now you’re not.”

“I am the king of everything,” Jack snapped. “I’m touching you right now. You gonna stop me?”

Luci reached up and knocked his hands off her shoulders.

“Nope. You didn’t.”
