Death Comes.

Hello! I know this blog has had a good run over the two years I’ve had it but starting today this blog with no longer be active and is being archived. I don’t ever plan on returning to it, I just haven’t been in the mood to write for MHA like I used to. But i will be keeping two of my muses that i do plan to keep writing for. So Dabi and Keigo will be moving over to my Multi-muse, Multi-fandom blog instead and I will be dropping the other muses  i used to write for. 

If anyone still wants to keep threads we have going please let me know and i will be moving them over to my other blog.

  Usually when the two of them finally turned in for the night, warm under the covers and sharing a bed together he would cuddle against Tomura. Wrap his wings around him, spoon him, just something so they had physical contact. But tonight Keigo completely turned away from him, wings pulled tight against his back with plenty of room between them. Like he was purposely avoiding him. “Night.”

 As unaware as Tomura is concerning relationships and basic human skills, there’s things that even him can’t just overlook. The tension has been almost palpable between them since leaving the laboratory, and although Tomura doesn’t understand the cause he’s tried his best to approach the topic in a subtle way, but his attempts have been unsuccessful. And then, the way Keigo turns away from him once they’re on bed is the last straw.

— “No.” He states, voice firm and decided as he’s propping himself on his elbows to glare at the other, “Do not ‘night’ me, I’m not stupid, you’ve been acting all weird since the lab. What the fuck is going on? Stop acting like a grumpy toddler and tell me your problem like an adult at once.”

   That’s when wings tensed even further against his back, not bothering to so much as glance over even when those words were nothing short of serious. He was right, this hadn’t been a good idea. Maybe he should have just slept in the room he was given when he first arrived instead. Keigo knew the way he was handling this situation wasn’t right, that he should have just voiced his concern the minute he walked into that lab. 

    But that was also the minute he realized he was in way too deep, that he was in love with this broken, unstable villain that viewed life's as nothing more than tools. How the hell was he supposed to say that to Tomura’s face without suffering any sort of backlash? So he went for the silent treatment, to let his thoughts settled before he spoke. But it looks like he was taking too long because Tomura wasn’t having any more of this bullshit.

                             ❝ Can’t we just, talk about it tomorrow? I’m tired. ❞

     Keigo lost track of time while he was in recovery, being heavily monitored by the staff while he was unconscious for what felt like months. All of his limbs ached, burned, and on top of it all those beautiful crimson wings had been long gone. He’s been told by the doctor that it would be a miracle if they grew back without any connective tissue, but that didn’t seem to register in his brain just yet. What he couldn’t believe was the fact that he’s been in the hospital for two whole weeks, has he really been asleep for that long? What happened? Did they win or were the villains still on the loose? Was Mordecai okay? 

     Any concern for his own well being went out the window, finally deciding to glance throughout the room until he noticed his cell phone abandoned on the side table. Huh, it must have survived the whole ordeal and he was quick to reach out for it. But he didn’t miss all the text messages, voice mails, and every call alert he'd gotten a week ago before they suddenly cut off. Ah, Mordecai must have tried to reach out for him but he wasn't able to get to his phone.

   He glanced through a few messages that were more passive aggressive than he would have liked before he finally called his cell phone. Listening closely to the few rings in hopes he would actually answer the phone. 

     Lately it seemed like everything had been going downhill, ever since the war between heroes and villains had finally come into light it had been nothing but a shit show from day one. The fight with Twice, Dabi, having to undergo urgent treatment at the hospital for what felt like weeks before he was finally able to sign himself out. But not without suffering major injuries, he didn't cry when his wings, his tail couldn't be saved if anything he bottled up all those emotions behind such a thick wall. One that would never crack under pressure, after all that's what the commission had drilled into him over so many years.

     But right now as he was being given a ride home and couldn't help this guilt in his stomach. He was going home to Setsuka, the woman he left behind to go fight in a war and some part of him hoped she was still waiting for him to walk back through those doors. That those arms would still greet him, or would she leave and call him a murderer? After all, killing Twice was now known to the public. 

     It wasn't long before Keigo walked up to his own front door, feet stopping right on top of the welcome mat with his keys loosely in his hands. He was hesitating again, heart dropping to his stomach and that nervous frown was hidden behind that metal mask. Even if she was home, what was she going to think when he was more metal and bandages than skin. But he sucked in a breath and unlocked the door, stepping inside. 

                                                                'Setsuka?'  

    This is what Dabi wanted wasn't it? Endeavor had been exposed to the public for all the horrible crimes he had committed to his family, along with hawks for having betrayed the league and killing Twice like the cold antihero he was. So why wasn't he satisfied? Why was the only emotions he was feeling were frustration and anger, had it been because he didn't get to put an end to any of them? That shoto, enji, the ones he promised to kill had gotten away with the lives when they should have been Dabis to take. Why does this happen every, single, time? 

   The fact that he was injured didn't matter, the melted staples, ripped skin, the slight blood pouring from under his eyes, none of it mattered. Not when he couldn't even feel the pain, right now he had better things on his mind. That's all he was worried about when he stepped into the new hideout they had moved to, mostly for the state of keeping their non fighters safe from harm. However the minute he saw Setsuka in his way he didn't think twice about pushing her away, not enough to do any harm but enough so she would move. 

                                    ❝ Not now, I can't deal with your shit right now. ❞

  Tomura turns his head slightly to peek at Keigo upon the words, holding for a moment before going back to his previous position. He mumbles softly in his throat, tightening his arm around his chest and then trembling slightly at the pleasant shiver that the hands tracing his back cause. It was still strange, to be this close with someone, but he was getting as used to it as he could, and he wasn’t regretting anything.

— “You’re sappy…” he mumbles against his neck, brushing his lips against the warm skin with each word, before giving him a small playful nibble, “But guess I missed you, too…”

                           ❝ You totally love how sappy I am. ❞

    Keigo couldn’t help but shiver at the soft nibble against his skin, reaching up to gently push his hands through Tomura’s hair and rubbed his fingertips against his scalp. Just absentmindedly playing with his hair while he stared off at his wings, just enjoying the two of them cuddling against each other. He even let a few of his feathers dart towards the door just to listen out incase someone decided to come get Tomura themselves. 

“Aww, too busy for your old pal? How priorities shift as soon as you get some freedom around here.” Dabi pauses just a few feet away, hands in his coat pockets. Now that they had nice new headquarters courtesy of the PLF, Hawks had gotten just a tad closer to some of the other League members.

“Is it wrong of me to check in? It’s been quite the journey gettin’ here,” He gestures to their surroundings. “I wanted to know what you thought about all of this…” The PLF were something else, and so was their leader. It had been pretty damn funny to see how he yielded to Shigaraki, though. Still, Dabi had his doubts about this whole gig. Sure, it was good to have an army at their disposal, but that didn’t mean they could be trusted.

“You still glad to be on our side?”

     Old pal? Oh, That one was rich coming from someone who was going to end his life the minute Endeavor was rendered powerless. He rather be hanging out with Twice, hell even Toga at this point rather than standing here with the pyromaniac, he had better things to be doing with his time. But for now he would humor Dabi, after all he did have to keep there trust he wasn’t out of the ball park anytime soon. 

               ❝ Why wouldn’t I be? Were the biggest we’ve ever been. ❞

  Of course Keigo wasn’t a fan, what went from being such a small group of villains he had to worry was now an entire army. One that Hawks couldn’t do anything about, all he could afford to do was lie in wait. Hopefully weasel out some information to Endeavor about what they had been planning. But the fact that everyone was watching him like a hawk and with Dabi’s ‘surprise’ drop in’s he didn’t have as much freedom as you would like.

  It didn’t take long before he noticed himself staring over at Tomura and the way he gently folded each piece of paper, like he had done it countless times before. Honestly, he looked pretty good at it, that's what had Keigo speaking up before he got pointed out for watching with his mouth open.

— “Don’t care…” The answer is a sleepy mumbling as Tomura snuggles closer, throwing an arm around Keigo’s chest and tangling his leg in his, enjoying the warmth of his body against his cold skin and the embrace of his wings. Of course, he knew the other was right, and he was pretty conscious of his own obligations as well, but he was just so comfortable like this, and it truly seemed as though they never got to spend too much time together beyond only sleeping.

Thus, he can’t help the smirk that grows on his lips before the next resigned words. He allows the other to brush the strands of hair away, always glad to feel the touch of his fingertips, and then presses his face into the hollow of his neck. his lips brushing the skin as he closes his eyes and takes on Keigo’s essence. Even if it was only a second more, he would take it. There wasn’t way of knowing when could they have another chance to share a moment like this.

    Keigo honestly can’t remember the last time they got to spend some quality time together, with the league of villains expanding so much as it has along with all the hero work on his shoulders he hasn’t even seen Tomura lately. There’s been a few times he’s caught a glimpse of him in the halls but with them keeping it on the down low it’s been lonely lately. So when he buried himself against Keigo’s neck, he couldn’t help but smile down at him.

                                        ❝ I missed you. ❞

   Any amount of trust they shared was gone after that high end had been released into the city, that’s when he started taking everything Dabi had to say with a grain of salt. Granted, he had been doing so from the start but out of everyone the league had he was by far the hardest to get a read on, he never knew what the pyromaniac had been thinking and that's what made him the most dangerous. But for now he would be good and go along with whatever he had to do to grain their trust, because that’s just what the commission wanted.

   So when Dabi had requested his audience he was already on the edge, but without a word of complaint he walked along the hall of the liberation front before he saw just the man he had been looking for. Whatever he wanted he had a feeling it wasn’t gonna be something he would like. Unless it was talking, he could do with just a conversation for once.

       There’s a sharp pause in his movements when another villain hit the ground within seconds, reaching up to drag the palm of his hand down his face with another sigh. He had planned on asking them a few questions, maybe get some information on who they worked for, who had sent them, etc. But he couldn’t really do anything with Rumi knocking them out left and right. 

    All Keigo had was one thing on the agenda, to drop off some documents Endeavor had let him borrow for the afternoon before he needed to head back to the commission for some more hero recruitment. But of course the man in question was nowhere to be found, so he took it upon himself to show up to his home instead. He could just drop them off, maybe take a peek at what their place looked like and make it back before anyone chewed his ass out. It sounded like a solid plan, even if some of it sounded more noisy than anything. 

        So he found himself marching up to the door, only to pause when it opened already before his fist could make contact. Ah, come on he knew this one what was his name again.
