Hello all, hope you're doing well! castelessGuardian here, to update you about some of the roles that are currently vacant! We'd love to hear some auditions!

ALL AUDITIONERS SHOULD BE 17+ OF AGE!!!

Cast-wise, we are currently looking for:

Broadway Jane (mezzo / contralto)

Broadway Roxy (mezzo / soprano)

Broadway Dirk (baritone / tenor)

Broadway Feferi (soprano)

For our staff, we are also looking for Five (5) more artists for song cover art and One (01) more lyricist to help our team come up with parody lyrics!

For singers, auditions should be one (1) song, Acapella (with no backing track) so we can hear your voice work! The mp3 should be emailed to [email protected], where we the mod team will listen over it and decide from there what kind of callback to give!

For artists, auditions should be Three (3) of your favorite Homestuck art pieces, sent in to [email protected]. We will then review and possibly send a callback in the form of a quick sketch mock-up of track art.

For lyricists, please send us a parody of a song you made (doesn't necessarily have to be Homestuck) to [email protected] and we will judge based on rhythm, syllabic structure, rhyming, all that fun stuff! There will be no callbacks for lyricists.

With our album number 4 closing (we have produced more than 400 songs in the span of 8 months… Good job y’all!), we are here to comment on some inside scoop and some roles opening up!

First of all, for the cast member we are currently missing, it is Broadway Dirk. Audition goes as follows!:

And for the other open roles, in a first for our group, we are accepting Two [02] artists to help with the track art! We already have some artists within the group but it is all still very informal. With the Artist role, we want you to focus solely on that! Here’s how to audition:

Hi everyone! Here’s the whole mod team, just to explain some reasoning behind our current cast choices/decisions!!!

We are adding Broadway June, Calliope, Caliborn/Lord English and Doc Scratch because they weren’t exactly important characters in Homestuck yet during the original Broadwaystuck run (June didn’t even exist!) and they proved to be essential characters at the end of the story. That’s why we have these four new roles, to account for hindsight over the original Broadwaystuck :}

Now let’s talk open roles, shall we? Currently John Egbert and Caliborn are open for audition! To audition is simple! Auditions should be one song, ACAPELLA (meaning no instrumental) so we can really hear your voice. The recorded mp3 file can be sent to [email protected]. After hearing that song, we'll send back a selection of callback songs for the character and discuss it between the Broadway Council itself, and we will let you know how your audition went. We are also currently looking for Three [03] Lyricists to help us with lyric writing. If you’re auditioning for a lyricist role, just send us a parody that you have written before (it can be from any fandom, not only Homestuck), and we will judge the quality of the writing.
