Just A Lost Girl

       “what the hell is this place??” her eyes are wild, dark circles lining them underneath. arms hug her chest, fingers pressing just a little too sharply into the flesh. “where am i??

“Ah, I’m so bored. And as nice as it is to see a new face, I don’t remember anyone telling me you would be here. How did you even get in?” Frankie asked as she plopped on the couch. 

      “FINE. GREAT. What do you want then or can I go back to what I was doing?” He wasn’t paying much attention, not really in the mood for company or to have to coddle her.

      “I’M NOT FUCKING anyone but you, Brinley.” He sighed, eyes narrowing further with the thought that she really didn’t have a right to ask what he did in his free time. Not that he couldn’t, he just didn’t want to. Sleeping with her hadn’t even really been in the plan.

      THE BREATH THAT escapes him is a heavy one and Bryson simply looks the blonde over while trying to figure out if he should send her off or not. Stepping to the side, giving her space to enter the room if she so wished. “Fine.” Was all that he said as he looked her over, trying not to think of how good it was to hear that she missed him.

      NOT EXPECTING ANYONE for the day, and really having no plans of leaving his cabin, Bryson resolved tot he fact that he’d spend the day in more or less of a vegetative state. All he wanted was peace, a clear mind, some sanctity if he could, but a loud knock had the male glaring towards his door without getting up to answer it. Brinley’s loud voice rang through, his teeth gritting together because if there was one person who knew he hated surprises or not being prepared, it was Brin. “What do you want Brinely?” The question was asked after he’d stalked over to the door and opened it with a little more force than necessary.

“it’s fine,” he shrugs easily, unaffected. “you alright, there? feel free to unload your problems on me, since i’ve just inadvertently bugged you with complaining of my own,” fitz laughs. “i’ve been here about a month. still getting into the swing of things. i take it you’ve been here a while?”

eyebrows shoot up, and fitz raises his hands in surrender. “woah, someone’s got their claws out.” he tucks his hands into his pockets, a somewhat amused expression growing on his face. “most pets hate this place. that’s a conversation starter, as i see it. just trying to make friends, not offend. my apologies.”

“looks like i’ll be hungry for a while, then,” fitz sighs. “that’s fucking stupid. it’s not my fault no one wants to claim me, and it’s just gonna get worse when i start to lose my build cause they won’t let me take care of myself.” he rolls his eyes.

      Days after her inconvenient run-in with a rare horrid master, and here the blonde was. Waving off one of her master friends, thanking them for her small favor - bringing her out to Bryson’s cabin. She wasn’t entirely sure how he’d take it, but after keeping herself locked in her room to try and push off the gross memories, she needed a dose of happiness. A single hand knocked against the wood. Three solid knocks before the door pulled open. “Surprise!” The woman shouted. “- Don’t be mad.”

he grumbles unhappily to himself, arms crossed over his chest. "a month of living here and i’m still not used to the food portions. mon dieu, i ate more than this when i was dancing. how do they expect us to have the energy to fuck masters and mistresses if we’re half-starved?”

“i’ve finally been able to settle in after a few days of much needed rest, and now i’m ready to explore all this great place has to offer. anyone care to give me the official tour?”

     — “It’s bigger than my father’s, but that’s to be expected.” He peered around the mansion, inspecting its interior. “Care to give me a tour?”

he shook his head, trying to get a level head. “i’m sorry, i’m just overwhelmed.” 

“ they must be going for more VARIETY, then. “  tris grumbled a little. the news was settling inside of him – he was waiting for the shock to abate and for survival mode to kick in, honestly, like it did when he was kicked out of his house as a teenager. 

“welcome?” he asked, raising his eyebrow. “i don’t think this is welcome this is more like here, let me kidnap you and then you should act like everything’s fine and okay.”
