Back in 2010 I had the pleasure and honor of being on set and playing a small role in M. Blash's "The Wait". I got to spend a couple of gorgeous days at The Black Butte Ranch just outside of Sisters, Oregon. I'll never forget the experience of meeting and getting to work alongside one of my favorite contemporary actors, Chloë Sevigny.

I'm excited to announce that after a long wait and a number of festival runs, the film is now available to view on Netflix. See if you can spot me! I appear for only a brief scene. I watched it for the first time today, and it really is a beautiful film. 

The NW Film Center's 40th Northwest Filmmakers' Festival

Wednesday, November 13th 2013, 8:30pm, Whitsell Auditorium at the Portland Art Museum

This film, directed by Weston Currie and with music by Grouper/Liz Harris, was included at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival as a New Frontier selection. It screened alongside live accompaniment once at the Hollywood Theater in Portland, OR, presented by Nationale, and once as part of the Nuit Blanche arts festival in Greenpoint, NYC.

How The Fire Fell is the very first feature film that I had the honor to work on with Edward P. Davee back in 2009. There was a special screening in Portland, Oregon as well as subsequent festival screenings around the country. 

Today it sees it's first wide release through Amazon Instant Video, where it is available for purchase, or as a 3-day rental. 

Kickstarter campaign is a-go. Half of the film has already been shot! The money raised through this campaign will help with completion of the final phase of filming which is currently scheduled for January 2014.

Come join in what will be a special celebration and wrap party for Phase Two of production and a fundraising event for the forthcoming Phase Three. Bring friends, family, buy some drinks ($$; proceeds go to funding the film), and hang with this very talented and awesome cast and crew. You'll even get the chance to peek at some footage and photos from the first two phases of shooting.

I have had the pleasure to work with various permutations of this team on a handful of projects so far, and I couldn't be more pleased or honored to be included in such a fine roster once again.
