UGH this was supposed to be part of the next doujin chapter’s cover but it instead turned out to be very unbefitting of it concept and artstyle-wise :’(. 

I love the fact that Vegeta is eating with HIS wife and HIS parents in law.

We get a closer with mostly Bulma? IS THIS FOR REAL? 

AND it’s all dark and kind of sad…THEN VEGETA IS HER LIGHT!  I have SO many words for this right now, I’m FREAKING OUT IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE OTHER WAY AROUND, BULMA BEING VEGETA’S LIGHT, I NEVER THOUGHT THAT VEGETA COULD BE HERS.

They both already know the high stakes for this tournament.

Bulma, understandably worried what will happen if they lose, is also worried that her husband will not hesitate to do something drastic, something along the idea of sacrificing himself once again, just to win or maybe let someone else from the Team win, when the situation calls it. 

Maybe this is before dawn breaks and by morning, Vegeta has to leave with Goku and the others. He intends to depart before she wakes up but she caught him nonetheless.
