So, Muriel lives in the frozen waters of the Southern Sea, someplace so far off it's at the edge of most maps.

I'm not sure what his whole history is, but currently he's living in solitude as he guards what most merfolk consider to be a sacred site. An undersea cave that, according to legend, holds the ancient power that allowed the first merfolk to leave their homes on dry land and live beneath the waves. Its location is a secret even to most merfolk themselves.

Asra is especially intrigued by this myth, though Muriel adamantly refuses to tell him where it is exactly. Still, Asra is a resourceful sort and has at his disposal most modern navigational technology and the help of the intrepid Captain Ilya Devorak. He's sure it's just a matter of time before he finds it, with or without Muriel's help.
