Briar watched as Magnus leaned in to sniff at the mushroom, seeing the expression on the alpha's face. He knew that this was usually not Magnus' duty. He was a wolf of work. Where Briar's hands were usually in the dirt and flora, Magnus' held tools, crafted things. "Your loss," Briar chuckled and popped the piece into his mouth, chewing enthusiastically as he stood up again. "I'll prepare some for us later, a little breakfast." Briar offered as he stepped over the log. "I was a little surprised you agreed to come out this morning. You're usually snoring in your cabin this time. Shaking the walls."
